Not even top 10. Massachusetts is #1.

>holding most of the wealth

As in highest GDP? Yes. Highest GDP per capita, which you Euros whine on and on about? Absolutely not.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_GDP_per_capita

Massachusetts #1 again, California at 8th.

> diverse ?
Diversity is a negative because it causes distrust among communities, devastates civic responsibility, and results in a shitty political environment (wow who would have thought, the US's politics have been nuts since the Immigration Act of 1965).

archive.boston.com/news/globe/ideas/articles/2007/08/05/the_downside_of_diversity/

I'm from Illinois and I would pick Mass any day of the week over Calishittia. No bias here, I don't live in Mass and have never even visited.

How do you know so little about our country? You're even worse than ignorant Southerners.

>We... We have the 3rd largest city..... We are relevant....

What happens there ?
Also are the hispanics there "native" to the area or they mostly immigrants and their children ?

>What happens there ?
Literally nothing, which dates back hundreds of years all the way through Mexico's ownership of the land. 1% of Mexico's population lived on the Mexican Cession (the territory they forfeited to us during the Mexican-American War), which is nothing, and that's for the entirety of it and not just New Mexico (the state).

>Also are the hispanics there "native" to the area or they mostly immigrants and their children ?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Native_American_tribes_in_New_Mexico

There are quite a lot of tribes that are native to there, but Hispanic is a bad word to describe native. Aztecs and their vassals did not roam north as far as New Mexico, so any Mexican living there is basically a foreigner when it comes to "native" Americans. Really, the entire USA is foreign to Aztecs/vassals, so this idea of Mexican revanchism based on Native Americans is really, really dumb.

I glossed over the actual native tribe a lot though, but the Apache, Navajo, and Pueblo are really cool. In particular, the Navajo were invaluable citizens during WW2 due to their language, which we used to encode military transmissions and get past the Germans.

By native i didn't mean the actual reservation dwelling indians, i wanted to know if the hispanics in NM were there before the US took it or if they moved there after.

embarassing how the flyovers seethe over california despite it pulling their deadweight asses

>yuros on Jow Forums hate poor stupid nonwhites
>yuros on Jow Forums love California
?????

>i wanted to know if the hispanics in NM were there before the US took it or if they moved there after.
They moved after, due to that 1% population on Mexican Cession issue. An interesting historical fact is that we promised all existing Mexican citizens the ability to become American citizens, but have protected language and culture until the day they died if they chose that path. Apparently we honored it

California's federal tax ratio is not that high.
theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/05/which-states-are-givers-and-which-are-takers/361668/

It's not even in the top 10 of our 50 states. The top 5 are Delaware, Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska, and Ohio in terms of taking less money than is paid out to the federal government. California gives the fed $1 for approximately every $0.98 spent on California, which is equality at best. Looking at the numbers, California only pays for itself.

>Using a substitution method similar to the Navajo, the Comanche code word for tank was "turtle", bomber was "pregnant airplane", machine gun was "sewing machine" and Adolf Hitler was referred to as "crazy white man".[14]
Loving Every Laugh (L.E.L.)

>Apparently we honored it
Wrong. We learned about this in one of my history courses. They were made citizens and promised them land, but the US found ways not to honor that.

do you have a link to this?

I read it through texts provided by the professor, but this page gives a good summary.

pbs.org/kera/usmexicanwar/aftermath/many_truths.html

>When the war ended there were close to 75,000 Mexicans living in the conquered territory, from California to Texas. And they had the choice of either going back to Mexico or staying in the United States. If they stayed, they could choose Mexican or U.S. citizenship. If they didn't declare their choice, after a year they would be automatically citizens of the United States. Many of them discovered that they had become second-class citizens — that American laws were not extended equally to them. Justice was delayed and therefore denied. Many of them lost their rights to own land, for reasons that are quite complicated. But clearly in the end, Mexicans from California to New Mexico lost their properties, and began to feel, as expressed by some of them, that they had become foreigners in their native land.

Basically, the US exploited legal loopholes that allowed them to keep the land they promised the former Mexicans.

all of those states combined have a much smaller population than California, meaning it still generates more for the federal government despite it being lower in ranking

also, you ignore non-federal industry and economies which is a much more important factor

Thanks

So what? California sucks up all the money that it generates in federal tax revenue. The population doesn't matter, because its population is paying for itself (~98% of it)

>also, you ignore non-federal industry and economies which is a much more important factor
Of course I ignore it, because it's not under the purview of what the limey argued.

The population does matter, because that ~2% pulls more weight than a good portion of the rest of the country.

Because California is BASED and REDPILLED.
