ITT: dumbest trading strategies you've used

the last two weeks I've literally just done an all in on swing trade on whatever coin is top gainer on Binance

literally doubled my stack desu

I've come to the conclusion I'm only here to make it. So I just go all in, literally threw $10k at ZIL this past week

how do you do that?

fibernacho retracements, relative sperg index, idiot waves

Then it depends on which coin it is how l manage it

might aswell throw dice on btc gambling sites and get the results faster.

unless you know the future, which nobody ever does.

all in is a good strategy if you know what you're doing.

It's not really dumb if it works. Just counterintuitive

desu doing this with a tight stoploss is a fine idea.

Just buy the dip falling knife, it's gonna be alright ;^)

what is swing trading?

Bought short-term call options on FB when it was falling in an attempt to "buy the dip"
After it bottomed out, I went even deeper with long term call options that dug myself out.
The stupid part of the strategy was using short term options.

Never again.
It's fine to day trade those following the swing, I guess.
But I'm never using options for than than a month out ever again.

Some of the contracts weren't even OTM, I just called it too early, and so, ITM became OTM
