I thought we were supposed to have the best health care with no waiting lines because muh capitalism...

I feel for you. I would probably be dead if I lived in the US or got a big debt I couldn't pay. The bill for everything was around €20k+ but the insurance covered everything. Own risk costs was 300, but yhe insurance company was nice enough to let me pay it over 10 months (30 each month).
I like how we're almost US-tier bad
we're one of the most tax heavy country in the world, rises constantly yet every state service becomes worse with each passing year
good things ahead I bet
>canada
oh oh dear hahahah oh no no hehehe
That's what happens when you have a mass influx of people who use the system but don't pay taxes
australia should be number one
>half of these countries are socialist
OH NO NO NO
>Younger brother gets brain cancer
>Insurance flies him out to New York City for treatment
>His doctors see relatively few Americans since that kind of advanced brain cancer treatment isn't available elsewhere, most patients are Euros
I'm unironically not convinced that American healthcare is worse than anywhere else. When Americans get healthcare abroad, it's to save money, when foreigners get healthcare in America, it's because that sort of treatment isn't available anywhere else.
time to stop reading the daily mail Nigel
you can get this same experience in america except it takes forever to get into a specialist
>all these free market economy states are socialist
Wtf? Does socialism even have a meaning anymore?
A lot of GPs/PCPs won't see you the same day without an appointment. You can sometimes go to a walk-in clinic, though.
i've never been to a doctor that won't see you the same day if he has an opening
We pay more than all the other countries combined
>If they have an opening
that's a key phrase. they almost never do, at least if you have a good doctor and/or are somewhere highly populated
What's the joke? Our healthcare system is unquestionably better than yours.
>second worst
ahahahaha *chokes on laughter*
Finnish waiting times are awful too but at least we don't have to pay our entire life-savings for treatment
he's not completely wrong
>Norway
>this bad
Wut?
Because American liberals hold Canada up as the shining beacon of what socialized healthcare should be like in America.
Oh I see, ours is okay but the Europeans are usually much better at it. The simple fact is that, as is all to common, we want the best of both worlds. Comprehensive and effective universal healthcare like in western Europe, but also low taxes like in America.
Mostly our's scores lower because only badic healthcare is provided. We have no dental, vision, medication, etc plan. Those are private like in the states.
