I had once arrange to meet a girl I liked and we knew each other for some time. So we set up a place to pick her up and the time. I got dressed, I got into my car, went to the place I was supposed to pick her up and waited
time passed, called her and she wasn't picking up. I waited a bit more and she apparently had ghosted me. She later on sent me a message saying she wasn't feeling well, but it wasn't even in the slightest persuasive, so I just blocked her and went on with my life. And I was surprised because she seemed eager as fuck to meet up and go out.
Conclusion: some people work this way sometimes, you just have to be prepared to face such situations

Yes, I've unlocked the bootloader, it confirms it when I reboot into the bootloader

Did you try this one?
>Unlock bootloader (you did), flash the red wolf image (you did), reboot your phone and on that 5sec screen, press volume button. You have to choose "recovery" then it will boot to red wolf recovery
if yes, try via the fastboot commands just to see where it will land you
