Graduated with a degree in Business Admin./Spanish. I've had five in person interviews in southern california for sales gigs because they're the only ones that responded back on LinkedIn. Not one of them reached out for a second interview for some reason. They were all wageslave telemarketing gigs anyways.

I call bullshit on that; I used to work for an engineering firm and I remember the boss saying how there was such a high demand for engineers numerous times. It's just most people don't have the connections. Sure math degrees are bullshit and meme tier but computer science and engineering are always gonna be in demand.
