The good thing about being diaspora to a mutt new world country like Australia is I can be the son of Arab immigrants and at home be completely culturally Arab and yet still feel 100% Australian.
When I go to the shops or uni or anywhere, pretty much everyone I see is Asian or Indian and just as "Australian" as I am. Nobody can tell me they're more Australian than me since they're of diaspora immigrant or mutt backgrounds themselves.
Even the whites are mostly Greeks or shitalians browner than me and speaking worse English than my parents
