another bridge

public transport
i bet most of those 4 seat cars only have 1 or 2 persons in them, a lot of space is wasted

imagine driving a manual in that

american under proxy?
you just go into neutral and wait, then shift to 1st when the traffic moves a bit and break again to wait.

Pray to Putin for help. He brings poverty and resolves the problem with traffic jam.

Rather tap the clutch occasionally than ride the brake.

Nuke New Jersey, problem solved. They are all scum who make New York look worse.

Mandatory death sentence for all traffic offenses. Drivers of buses registered with companies or municipalities carrying paying passengers are exempt.

Wouldn't it collapse again in a few years?

Yeah. This city is way to hostile towards pedestrians.

possibly. but with good maintenance, materials, design and workmanship it should be able to last as long as it was designed to.

the american way!

A ferry and a train, provide more routes of travel so that not everyone takes the bridge.
Adding more lanes doesn't help, that's how we ended up with LA

No. I mean. It would be pass its full capacity again and then we would have to comply stagnated bridges instead of just one.

*we would have 2 completely *

stop concentrating hundreds of thousands jobs in a few km2 to prevent hundreds of thousands people to travel to the same spot at the same time

1. story behind pic?
2. make both lanes go the same direction?

trains. make the bridge exclusively for pedestrians and bicycles.

Reliable public transportation

Lease the bridge to an Italian contractor.

Pic is from a highway in Panama city called "Corredor Sur". It is no the only vitality with a traffic congestion problem. The whole city collapses at rush hours.

but the increased flow on the bridge means that there is clearly a demand for more volume. which means it has alleviated some of the traffic related congestion. if the argument is how do we get rid of congestion in major urban cities the answer is impossible. you can cut down congestion but not eliminate it.

Leave the country, Panamanians.

A bridge like that is capable of handling titanic amounts of trafic. The problem lies in the city on the other side.

humanity depopulation

What country should we move to in order to not have this problem?

Hmm. What is a country you like?

Why don't you get a car?

I have a car. But so those literally everyone in the city. with this traffic, you are better off walking.

Let's walk.

Drive on the left lane.

I do. But I wish the sidewalks were less shitty here.

Time to get to London. We have nice sidewalks.
