I was under the impression that Australia did not like the Chinese, but opinion polling has revealed they consistently have high opinions of the yellows.

You walk up to someone on the street and ask "do you like Chinese people" what do you think they're going to say? Most people are indifferent.
"yes" because about half of all aussoids are chink at this point
t. Bruce Morton Chang
according to your logic every country would have similar results
but nope, australia is exceptional
pewglobal.org
They polled Chinese Australians obviously.
China is the country. Chinese is the dog.
Do you really believe that?
>I was under the impression that Australia did not like the Chinese
Spend less time in Jow Forums.
Something around 10% of our population is of Chinese ethnicity, from memory.
We aren't autistic about ethnicity like many other countries seem to be. If you speak English and have an Australian accent, most people will generally accept you as an Aussie without too much of a second thought.
Are you an American?
I too have high opinion of yellows
youtube.com
Where have we gone so wrong.
are you anglo celtic?
Your olds failing to abort is a start.
Yeah, more or less. From the family I know most about, it stretches back into the early Scottish tribes. There is a book floating around somewhere with a history of family on the side of my old man but I don't know all that much about my mother and her family.
I was a unplanned child desu.
They probably don’t want to be seen as racists
No shit, weren't we all.
Probably not hey. Keep coping, though.
That’s not how they do the polling user...
Why do you want Austarlians to like chinese? They are our biggest threat.
do you like the chinese communist party interfering in australian political parties? Or the way they are influencing the australian media and the australian public? do you like the way the communist party brainwashes its citizens and then sends them to study australian educational institutions and broadcast their pro beijing retoric?
No but why should a few bad things make someone dislike an entire nation? I don’t hate Germany for being an autistic jew screwing over the rest of Europe.
Those aren't even comperable, what the fuck is wrong with you? Subverting a antions media and goverment aren't "A few bad things"
wake up and smell the coffee. subverting another nation is with these means is more than 'a few bad things'. you are severely downplaying the impact this will have and is having on australia and the world
Stop samefagging
Our biggest threat are the neocon cunts in power and the lingering threat of America starting another fucking war and dragging us into it. China is a trading partner we rely on, not a fucking threat. Do you spend time in Jow Forums or something? You seem completely detached from reality.
>do you like the chinese communist party interfering in australian political parties
What?
>Or the way they are influencing the australian media and the australian public?
The fuck you on about?
>do you like the way the communist party brainwashes its citizens
Seriously, what are rattling on about?
>and then sends them to study australian educational institutions and broadcast their pro beijing retoric?
Mate, just stop. Most Chinese nationals who come here to study are rich kids who go into economics, business and finance. If you think they give a shit about political activism then you're sadly mistaken.
That's not what samefagging implies, newfriend.
>Do you spend time in Jow Forums or something? You seem completely detached from reality.
Yes he clearly does and clearly is. Muh “all Chinese are brainwashed” Jow Forums spammer is well-known.
I'm not samefagging.
>clearly the same person responding twice to me while acting like it’s two unique responses from separate people
That is also samefagging, newfag.
That is in no way proof of anything, you idiot.
stop putting your head in the sand and address the problem. if you aren't a chinese person and this is how you view this situation, i hope you realise soon the ominous future you face

Please reply with another "huh what no way, that isnt true" post
kill china
wtf I thought indonesians hated the chinese
they do, they just like chinese monay
Where's the American and "Anglo-Celtic" Austarlian?
they really have scrammed
Honestly more concerning, that there are Aussies and Americans on here, who don't care or think it's not a threat.
Actually the Chinese make up 5.6% of our population. Sam Dastyari was a member of the opposition (Labour Party) who haven't been in power since 2013.
Literal chink colony
Unironically chinks have invaded the country in the name of immigrant
>Make post hating chinks
>Aussies and Canadians defend them
Errrytime
first, that's over 1.4 MILLION chinese people in australia, is that meant to be a good thing? Are people supposed to go, "oh yeah over 1.4 million chinese, yeah nice, no way that has an impact on this country". Second, Sam Dastyari is merely a single example, he's the one who got caught. This article has a list of donors to australian political parties, see if you can spot a trend. If you're ready to actually address anything ive posted, that would be good also
abc.net.au
>4.5% Chinese population
>Haha you're all fucking chinks
>17% Mexican
>DON'T FUCKING CALL ME MEXICAN YOU PIECE OF SHIT I AM IRISH AND GERMAN
>Australia did not like the Chinese
>Australian government passing legislation to combat Chinese corruption
>Australian government passing legislation to stop Chinese investors buying Australian property
>Australian government expressing constant interest in keeping China out of the South China sea and from building a naval base near PNG
Australian people just think China wants to be friends with everyone and hold hands and sing kumbaya. No one has any idea about the geopolitics at play. Hell, Australian people dont even know why we're allied with Washington, they just presume we're doing it for the keks.
The Australian government knows more than its people. Policy makes know more than the people. This is why new leaders get briefed after they get elected and their original views get flipped.
Can’t say I’m a fan tbqh lads
>was a member of the opposition (Labour Party) who haven't been in power since 2013
You know members of opposition are still members of parliament yeah
why is the slant carrying a tommy gun? is this a reference to american imperialism?
He resigned in January of this year due to the donations scandal.
Everything he posted in true you dumb cunt. CPC stretched its totalitarianism beyond its borders. Chinese uni students have state minders and even those quite divorced from China still have the expectation of loyalty to the CPC. Even migrants coming from around the time of the Tianaman square massacre are not considered mere enemies or opponents, they're considered traitors. China has very successfully implemented a strong civil nationalism that remains in the back of the mind of any Chinese no matter how far removed, slowly including everyone under a manufactured cultural identity of Han. China is the big boy of the world now, you can't be lax.
It is 1.2 million. Seriously why does everyone seem to care? Most Australians don't really care at all.
Go back to where you came from
Chinese people are largely the same as anyone, mostly just leading minor lives with small acts of kindness and cruelty alike. The Chinese government I'm more concerned about. Leaving aside the obvious internal issues, there's the question of what China's international ambitions really are. It could just be that all they want is mutually beneficial trade deals and a seat at the global table like they claim. But China's also been long accustomed to exerting both soft and hard power over it's sphere of influence, and now that China's back to being a major global player there's no shortage of people within the nation and the diaspora eager for it to throw it's weight around on a wider stage. If China's going to play the empire game though, it won't be for a while yet, America's still too well armed.
