Malaysian (and other SEA) exchanges had a significant premium last Dec/Jan. I don’t remember which ones.

any currency that nobody wants commands a premium. look at krw.
best way is to buy in and sell out into usd or jpy for asians. most banks allow these two currencies anyway.
