They've got lots of color
It's more famous than the other scandinavian countries and Finland
I got hired in Ikea
no
why? they are the most arrogant people in the world already
Individuals are taxed at around 55% here, even more if you consider that the goods you buy with your remaining money have sales taxes slapped onto them.
Spotify is better than apple music
>55%
18%*
No Denssi on kyllä LIT!
swedish death metal
most beautiful people on earth
That image is just wrong
rude
Oh ok
You are only taxed 55% if you earn more then 390 000 kr a year.
Regular people are taxed at around 31%
Sorry, I was wrong, its if you earn more then 680 000 kr a year you are taxed at around 55%
i heard sweden likes penises and are faggots alot so heres a nice penis for sweds i hope i am nice to them
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID
(_)(_)
What is that in human currency
Wrong. You pay income tax around 31% then you pay an employers fee at around 30% (it's called an employers fee even thought it is a tax for the employee to pay). Then you have whatever tax there is the goods you purchase with your money, most sales taxes in Sweden are between 10% and 25%. So, best case scenario 0.69*0.70*0.9 = 0.4347. You get to keep 43.47% of what you earned. This is at the minimum wage, too.
You fell into the trap of believing you only income tax here.
68 000 Euros a year. One euro roughly equals ten swedish kronor
>Individuals are taxed at around 55% here
NO. Completely wrong.
I earn 34 000 SEK per month.
I pay 25,2% of that in taxes etc.
I take out 25 431 SEK after that per month.
So stop spreading bullshit.
Puchase taxation only applies to new products and vary widly so why even include that? Not everything you spend your money on is products eiter
Retard, there's more than just income tax in Sweden. Arbetsgivaravgift ("Employers fee") and sales taxes are all taxes you also pay.
there are many vegan restaurants
Thank you Sweden for the soundtrack for this - youtu.be
>Implying that employers fee would ever end up in your pockets anyway
mentioned to a Swede mate once, about 12 years ago I had a Norwegian great grandfather.
he said oh, i'm so sorry for you.
cunt white flighted to Thailand lol
miss when he was arrogant like that
Is that for total or earned income? Here are the tax brackets for earned income in fenlan
It would, the market price for whatever job your doing would stay the same. Employers pay market price for a given service, doesn't matter for them if it's 30/70 government/employee or 100% to the employee, the market price for whatever you are doing is would remain the same.
Swedes are hateful because they are sad and lonely
Already accounted for.
Thats only earned income.
>34 000 a month
This year I went from 20 400 to 21 000 a month...
I can dream at least.
Damn...
And I thought we were the number one nanny state
I understand the banter between scandis and you lads. I liked him that way. I want him back how he was
>I want him back how he was
Uhm...
Pretty much the same for me bruh
When it comes to goods we are unfortunately
Add sales tax to that and you get near a 50-55% tax. You see on the diagram that not all "fees" are counted as "tax", which is absurd since they effectively are taxes. The yellow slice is the part you get to keep at 57%, yet the total tax is listed as 25%
>sales tax
Yeah about, I pretty much but everything second hand and make my own booze so no.
>I pretty much but everything second hand
Most people don't, your anecdote really isn't an argument
>Individuals are taxed at around 55% here, even more if you consider that the goods you buy
>Add sales tax to that and you get near a 50-55% tax
So how is it gonna be? The first or the second one?
although this period is over now, for a couple of years Sweden used to be marginally better than Germany
What the fuck, not even NorGAY does that
Yes it is. This was about me and my taxes. So it's a damn good argument.
This. Kid seems really confused..
Sales taxes are a meme as we confirmed earlier and would only apply if you spend all of your remaining wage on consumer goods. Wich nobody outside of "Lyxfällan" does.
If I were to spend all of my money on gasoline I would pay pretty much 70% taxes. If I were to spend it all on second hand wooden santa figures or online games I would pay no sales tax. Its a useless thing to include in your argument.
Used to be arguably the best country in the world, and richest.
He's lying out of his ass. Around 20-30% is normal and what the majority pays.
He can't even keep his "facts" straight..
Look at my chart for example, nowhere near 55%.
I never said you pay 55% in taxes. I said swedes in general pay around that percentage.
There's a sales tax of 12% on fucking food. Guess you and the other tard get your food second hand, huh? Most stuff is taxed at around 25%, thought.
link to that calculator plz
How exactly are you calculating the sales tax? If he earns 34k before taxes, and 25k after, and then buys 25k worth of products which have a 25% sales tax, he would have paid 5k in sales taxes, which is around 1/7 of his total income ie. around 15% more taxes to pay, not 25%.
Who the fuck spends their entire wage on food? Not even that fat lebanese kid does that. Hell, I probably spend less then 2000 kr a month on food.
Your diagram shows 40% taxation, and doesn't include sales tax.
The regular sales tax is 25%, it's just lower for foodstuffs.
Ikea meatballs are nice
>I never said you pay 55% in taxes
Sure kid
>Individuals are taxed at around 55% here, even more if you consider that the goods you buy with your remaining money
Get a grip idiot.
>inb4 not me
Kek.
rakna.net
You got mental a mental illness or something?
There is taxes and there is fees. Different things kid.
Fees from the government are taxes, you absolute mong.
It clearly says that he gets to keep 17 164 kr out of 22 000.
That means he get to keep 78% of his income.
17164/22000 = 0,78
The figure of 22k is after he has already paid a "fee" of around 30%. His employer pays 31.5k for his work.
So all it takes for a Swedish to have an all out spergfest is to mention taxes? Interesting
Humanitarian Superpower by 2030
Blame the autisto kid in the thread. He's retarded. Probably never worked a day in his life.
No they aren't. If you're anything like Finland, almost half of what you lose going from gross income to net goes to A) workplace health insurance and B) retirement fund payments.
Yes the state taxes you to pay for these things. It doesn't become less of a tax because it goes towards a certain government program. Compulsory fees to pay for government functions = taxes.
Wich is irrelevant. The company pays taxes in a shitload of ways, and why include those in my personal taxation? I never payed those taxex, as the money wasnt mine at that time.
And dont come with the argument that I would have gotten a better paygrade if those fees didnt exist, because first of all we both know that isnt true, and second of all one could assume that I would get a better paygrade if all the other taxes the company has to pay would be lowered, so why not include those too then?
Retirement fund payments is something that you will get back tho.
That made no sense. Who the hell is supposed to pay for your retirement if not you yourself? Yeah you can compare Sweden to USA and cry about more freedums and less taxes, but americans also have among the shittiest pensions in the western world and pay an arm and a leg for most medical procedures, while in the nordic countries you can live with your pension and most medical fees are non-existant (not to mention paid sick days).
>Wich is irrelevant
It is not, it's your money. The market price for that guys work is 31.5k, that's what he can sell his work for. The company thinks this is a good price and pays it, you just don't get all of it because the state takes 30% before you get it.
>because first of all we both know that isnt true
It is absolutely true, you can't even make an argument for it.
Your retirement fund is paid for by your taxes. Why are we even arguing this? It's still tax even if you get something back.
Isnt there a bunch of cases where that fee is reduced by quite a bit tho? So the market price on that guys work would vary depending on wich company employs him and why?
Nice country. Unfortuntely it's just full of sw*des
Shut up eastswede...
480 days of paid parental leave.
Thank the gods, got a 7 month old at home..
A nation of utmost charity, whose guiding light brought a touch of civilization to distant, primordial lands, raising up many lesser peoples to the heights of reason and complex human thought! The most charitable, venerable, and ineffable of peoples. Their neighbours owe them much.
A "Humanitarian superpower" they said.
sweden is based and redpilled
Imagine being so triggered by a norwegian coming into Sverigetråden to say *dabbing on Sweden* with a fucking pepe image attached that you go on to call Norway not a real country and an extension of Denmark.
Cool it down, söta bror!
Norway is ancient yes, but it's not been a real country but for a short time.
>short time
We've spent more time independent than in unions. And even then, we weren't "not real" - we were simply in a union under a foreign king and government.
Besides, my point was that my joke was beyond harmless, and a swarm of Swedes show up firing their heaviest artillery at me. Baffles me honestly.
I guess you're audacious to bother them that way, being from an upstart little country like Norway (in their eyes).
That's not their usual attitude.
Besides, I know what you mean by upstart but it feels wrong when Norway was the first scandi country to be united in 872, centuries before Sweden and a couple of decades before Denmark. Despite our history from 1397-1905.
I love Scandinavian Design very much!
Truly völkisch! Clean, clear, organized yet comfy. Design for great minds
don't let it get to you, people on this board are assholes in general
I wish I was Swedish. Feels bad.
If I see it right, Scandinavian house building had a great influence on your cunt
Thanks. I knew that /SvT/ was full of degenerates - I probably just got unlucky and met a whole host of anti-Norwegian people all at once. I imagine that I defended myself fairly well though.
One of them didn't believe me when I said that you guys went to trial against us over our occupation of eastern greenland in the 1930s, kek. Had to source my claim.
The world would be a better place if more people were Swedish, it is true.
>anti-Norwegian people
Didn't know those exist at all
Not sure if it's coincidental or not, but Scandinavian houses are pretty similar to north American houses, except we usually paint our houses white, not red.
four walls and a roof, I mean, that's kind of normal anywhere
Some, and I mean some, Swedes and Danes are still a combination of spiteful/taunting over the combination of:
1) our extensive oil wealth
and
2) our history with them from 1397-1905.
Some see it as insultingly contradictory, as if Norway isn't ever allowed any happiness or luck because we got fucked after the black death.
I think so too. If you compare traditional American and Scandinavian farms they seem pretty similar.
Well I meant the houses in the West and Midwest
I like swedes but sverigetråden is seriously garbage. half of them are weeaboo trannies roleplaying like mentally retarded children and the other half are cringy Jow Forumstards.
Pretty much lol. It's sad that it's also the most active Scandi thread, but that is to be expected of a nation consisting of 9.9 million people as opposed to our 5.2-5.4 million.
I've never met anyone where I live (jutland) who dislikes norwegians. dunno if it's different in copenhagen though, I've never been there.
thank you for IKEA.
I sometimes buy your frozen meatball and salmon.
and your viking history is also cool.
and please stay country of free sex.
>s if Norway isn't ever allowed any happiness or luck
After being cucked for more centuries you deserve some luck, don't you. Also, oil won't last forever.
Before the oil Norway was a pretty harsh country with harsh and serious people (from waht I know from literature)
You really need to grow thicker skin
Yeah, as I said, there's so few of you that it's almost folly to even mention. But the sentiment is there, if almost non-existent.
>Before the oil Norway was a pretty harsh country with harsh and serious people (from waht I know from literature)
Yup.
We've been working on diversifying our economy for a while, and we've built up a gigantic reserve oil fund that you've maybe heard of, so we'll be fine.
