It does, the difference is christians don't venerate Joseph as the central and most important figure of their religion. Plus they may never have had sex, which Muhammad explicitly did with his wife, albeit a few years after he married her.

Muhammad is just supposed to be a model muslim nothing more nothing less. And on the subject of age of marrying. Muhammad's first wife was 20 years older then them, its interesting that nobody ever references that. Also in Islamic Law (Shakira Law) the legal age of marriage is determined by the womans sexual and mental maturitiy. Which is why it is not that farfetched that a woman would marry at age 9 at a time and in a place where women had a very short life span and would often die giving birth.

You are aware muslims have killed people for mocking or insulting him, yes? His role is kinda larger than just being a model for how to live your life. Much like the buddha, he holds an extremely important cultural significance to many, and a protective obsession exists around him, that is similar to person worship. That this goes against mainstream islamic doctrine is certainly true, I'm not arguing that. But to ignore that many regular muslims adore and praise him to an extent that is similar to worship, much as how a cult leader can be worshipped even without worshippers thinking they are literally a god, is to deny reality.
