Both of my parents are half Norwegian who had surnames like Stromme, Nordbye, Stedje, and Olson. The rest of my ancestors from both sides come from around Lorraine France. The german ancestors came from Germany way the fuck back in 1700. According to 23andme I'm Norwegian, German, English, Irish, and a little bit Finnish with Norwegian being the highest percentage.

real talk though, when I send my raw data to other testing sites they say I'm about 10% Med and 13% Caucasus. The French/Germans on my mom's side initially moved to Odessa Russia to farm and then came to the United states, and my great Norwegian grandpa looks French and his dad's surname was originally Johnson, not Stromme.
