This is weird to me. How come americans equate constitutionality with freedom? As well as connecting the constitution with everything good in the world, they seem to view it as the origin of all liberty, and the meassuring stick by which all philosophy should be judged. It's so weird.

It's basically the only thing holding the country together. Other countries have changed constitutions multiple times, the US only has once (and the Articles of Confederation weren't really useful or important) and it's basically unthinkable to do so.

Some people, such as a US Senator, decided to change the name of French Fries in some places, such as in the cafteria of the Senate, to Freedom Fries instead, and also Brussel sprouts to Liberty Sprouts cause Belgium also didn't go to war.
