ik ben inderdaad nog niet officieel ingeburgerd maar ik wil het doen dit jaar ja didn't know it's equivalent to A2 level but that explains why it's so simple hardcore people do NT2 but that's quite a bit more difficult note that I don't _have_ to do inburgering, dunno if it's to do with EU status ofzo but basically I can just go anywhere in the EU and not give a shit, to a large extent the only downside to not having citizenship is that you don't have voting rights. otherwise you're literally an EU citizen and can thus live wherever you want for however long you want

Disgusting lack of standards desu. Do you lose your romanian citizenship after inburgering? I believe only a few select countries are allowed to have dual citizenship over here.

Your methods of pursuing that is completely idiotic and you're not dumping 1k+ hours into learning a language if you can't manage to get a girlfriend where you live. Your random Jow Forumsshit garbage also makes it obvious your personality is complete garbage which is probably why you can't get a girlfriend in the first place

It's about learning not winning. Write out what you can then translate single words as necessary. Write them down and study so they become part of your arsenal.
Being able to piece together something intelligible, even if it's not a direct translation, is a huge skill to develop.

m8 if you avoid doing them because you don't want to use translate to find the right words, you're doing it wrong imo the point of those challenges is improvement, not to show off at least I hope everyone prefers to figure out how a sentence would sound/work rather then being like "nope not gonna do this one because I don't know how to translate this word"
you try your best, you fail, anons correct you, you improve now go and do the challenge NOW this is the /lang/ challenge police
you try your best and do it anyway, there's literally nothing to lose write them down somewhere in a notepad, save them, maybe an user will pop up or maybe you can fetch one from their respective general on Jow Forums, who knows; it's also good to keep them for review later on, or to see how you've progressed maybe you'll find a fren from your target language later on, and you'll have all these exercises to go over! how great would that be
Easy >I bought a dictionary Compré un diccionario. >I didn't read that book No leí eso libro. >I will be gone for a week Estaré afuera para una semana. >That was a nice restaurant Eso fue un restaurante buena. >I don't think that's right No creo que eso es la verdad. >I bought a dictionary Compré un diccionario. Nice >I didn't read that book No leí eso libro. No leí ese - if noun was omitted it would be eso >I will be gone for a week Estaré afuera para una semana. Instead of para use por, or even better, durante >That was a nice restaurant Eso fue un restaurante buena. Ese (same reason as before) fue un buen restaurante/restaurante bueno. you used female inestad of male >I don't think that's right No creo que eso es la verdad. Here you are using verdad meaning 'truth'. Correct would be No creo que eso sea verdad or No creo que esto esté bien Medium >I have won the Kellogs lottery, the prize is £5000, or a lot of ice cream He ganado la lotería del Kellogs, el premio es cinco mil euros, o un monton de helado. Very nice >I would stay longer if i didn't have to work tomorrow Quedaría si no tendría que trabajar manana. You are missing the reflexive, its 'quedarse' so Me quedaría. Also you used the wrong tense, you have to use the imperfect from subjunctive, tuviera. >The store clerk didn't accept my 10 Dollar bill because there was a tear in it El trabajador del tienda no aceptó mi billete de 10 dólares porque tenía un desgarre. Almost perfect, is 'de la tienda' >The emperor didn't care about the peasants at all El emperador no cuidó sobre a los campesinos ni un poco. Only one mistake, you have to use preposition 'de', for verb is 'cuidar de'. >John was upset that his best friend didn't help him Juan fue molesto que su amigo mejor no le ayudó. You have to use 'estar' almost always when talking about moods, so estaba. Also instead of que use 'de que' or 'porque'
Keep it up user :)
Eli Cox
i noticed i was missing one detail. In the last sentence, you got 'best friend' in the wrong order, is the other way around: mejor amigo
