How well known is Mr. Bean in your country
Mr. Bean is pretty well known in my country.
He's famous. But his shows are not airing anymore, so zoomers might not know about him at all.

He's famous here in Japan too but only just as Mr. Bean, not as his real name Rowan Atkinson, and not because people like his sitcom show but simply because his face is pretty unique for an arr rook za same white gaijin and he seems quite big abroad for some reason.

The great thing about mr bean is how perfectly it (doesn't) translates. No pop culture stuff tied to the country only, no word tricks which only work in its native language. It would be surprising if it wasn't honestly.
