>me like corrupt institution composed of psychopaths who can murder me for no reason and suffer no repercussions
I've only been pulled over one time. I was wearing my work uniform and the cop told me he likes my company. Then he let me go without giving me a ticket.
Its insane how you see some Americans be anti-government but pro-authoritarianism in the same statement
Nobody who isn’t the police like the police.
Pretty overrated band 2bh
The police has never done anything nice for me why should I like them?
It’s not their job to be nice to you. It’s their job to enforce the law and shoot black peoples.
They love their police because they exist as public servants and not a government mafia
They don't enforce the law or shoot black people.
I still have no reason to like them.
I'm not claiming all your interactions with cops will end with you getting shot. I'm just saying that there is a good segment of the police force that are total psychopaths who just wanna kill someone, and if one of them decides to murder you the worst that will happen is that they'll be "suspended", aka given a free paid vacation.
Americans don't have a general consensus like collectivist euro societies do, it's a country of 350 million people who think for themselves or try to think differently
No one actively hates them, but the relationship they have with the DA/prosecutors and the special consideration during any court proceedings involving them (even as citizens), breeds a bit of resentment
>trusting anyone in a position of authority
Wew lad, they're not even supposed to protect you in America and you think that's good? A better question would be why Americans idolize their police.
I felt bad and I'll try to be more considerate next time
Yet you're the one stuck in a two party system while most European countries enjoy a more pluralistic political landscape.
I don’t think it’s good and Imdefinitely don’t idiocies them. People here mostly don’t like the police, they simply defend them on the racial stuff because they dislike black people more.
How many communist/socialist parties do you guys have by the way? Is it exagerated? Not defending the 2 party system just curious.

Why do Americans spam lies?
We have a traditional socialist one (not SocDem) thats at around 17% popularity, an anticapitalistic one (kinda union based communism) thats 2% and a communist one at 1%
Holy shit really? 17%? That is massive. And they legit want all the factories and businesses to abandon their owners and become owned by their employees?
I have never heard anyone ever speak poorly(except in individual cases) of the police
Most the time people here talk to the police and police will act like bros unless you act like a shitskin
Maybe the other Malteser could fix any mistakes I said
But at least with the crowd I stick with, the police is seen as alright
We do?
What's the problem?
Probably, but they wouldnt directly hold this kind of discourse. So their main point is about heavy redistribution from the extremely rich to the poorest classes and a lot of worker protection.
Commies are bigger mass murderers than Fascists EVER could kill. Fascist hate other races, commies hate everyone.
Maybe r/the donald would be more your speed.
>its another plague vs cholera shitflinging contest
Can you explain to me how the state withers exactly? Could you give me an example of this please?
>two party system
There's a communist and National socialist party in America
YO LISTEN UP HERE'S THE STORY
If you like the police you're unironically a cuck.
ACAB
Dont be dumb, the gap between the 2nd and the 3rd most popular party is of more than 40%. Meanwhile we had 4 candidates of different parties within 5% of eachother last year in the first round of our presidential election.
I bet you think Communism killed 100 MILLION PEOPLE
That is too low a number and you know it. Triple that number for accuracy.
Oh so they are socialist "lite". Because if they legit believed in using the state to oust business owners and have employees be given shares of the company, man 17% of France would be...very worrisome.
*very encouraging
Well democrats aren't all the same, they're from all over the left spectrum. Trump for example is an extremist authoritarian even though he ran as a republican. The problem is that basically our political parties are in predetermined coalitions (the two parties). There has been large 3rd parties before but they never win because they end up splitting the vote 25%-25%-50% on whatever side they would originally be on, whether it be republican or democrat
You got it right. Remember that case of the traffic policeman getting run over and almost killed? That accident caused an uproar. And there's always solidarity with the police that get hurt on duty.
>Democrats are from all over the left spectrum
"no"
>Trump for example is an extremist authoritarian
"no"
>Bernie ran as a democrat even though he's a complete socialist
>trump ran for republican although he's a tea party hyper nazi
hmm
> Trump for example is an extremist authoritarian
Well political parties arent supposed to be full on idealist, they basically are arguing about measures that people can grasp now. If you just tell em that you'll have workers owned factories, theres too much left in the air as to exactly how its going to help them.
Bernie is a milquetoast social democrat at best.
I'm not sure Trump has many real political beliefs.
>suffer no repercussions
Rewarded in fact. Want some paid vacation time? Just ice some nog
It's literally the opposite by the way. Americans think like a hivemind on almost every issue, especially politics.
>using the state to oust business owners and have employees be given shares of the company
That's not socialism, that's just worker-owned capitalism.
The bubonic plague has multiple antimicrobial treatments but vibrio cholerae can become multi-drug resistant
Oh I see, youre commentating on European police reform and the intractible nature of american legislation problem around law enforcement, smart.
>Because if they legit believed in using the state to oust business owners and have employees be given shares of the company, man 17% of France would be...very worrisome.
Pffttthahaha
He's constantly trying to undermine checks and balances, ridiculing the Judicial branch for doing their job, and mentioning on twitter that America should get rid of our political process
Not true
but thats exactly why i found it so detrimental, they try to pander to too much of the political spectrum
thanks for the quick fact sudanon
it just was a litteral translation of a French expression directed at the leaf and burger arguing right before that post
Trump is a retard it's not news, but you can't really place him well structured political spectrum he's definetly on the somewhere right, but he's not authoritarian. I suggest you google some authoritarian states, interwar Lithuania under Antanas Smetona for example.
I only like gay police OwO
Never had a bad encounter with police here.
They're mostly dealing with eastern European thieves and other subhumans not normal people.
What do you think owning the means of production is? Only communists want to get rid of the state eventually.
What do you mean?
I guess you are right but damn...if they are socialist their ultimate goal would be to eliminate private ownership of Paribas or Renault. Why would anyone ally with them?
Are you talking about a police exclusively composed of Village people style police officers or a police made for hunting down the gayism in society ?
>What do you think owning the means of production is?
You have to abolish the market and production for exchange or else you haven't really fixed any of the root issues of capitalism.
Oh we dont really do coalitions here, our legislatives are done in a way to almost always guarrentee a majority for the party in place. It still is highly influential since the last government had half of their party break off and fight the legislation they tried to vote. But we got too many bad experiences in the 3rd and 4th Republic to remain a parliement base democracy, we're semi-presidential now.
> a police exclusively composed of Village people style police officers
This one.
>Have 10 times as high prisoners per capita as every other civilized country
>Same applies to (police) violence in general
>"Hurr why do people think our law enforcement is bad"
The absolute state of USA
How would you conceivably do that without isolating yourself completely from the outside world?
OK fair enough. Still seems rather extreme view for 1/5 of your country, but who am I to judge.
>usa
>civilised
>"but its niggers"
>litteraly actively throw them in prison for any kind of drug possession while others get slaps on the wrists
I dont think all of them would actively fight for the end goal but see that party as the only realistic way to fight the inequalities between the rich and the poor since they feel the SocDem arent going to. We still have some outright troskyists and tankies though, but discourse still manages to stay somewhat """"""" calm""""""" as I'm a strong believer in liberalism and had many discussions with the full on nationalising to then workers owned that dont become shitfests. Our overall population seems highly politicised compared to other countries so discussions happen more smoothly since people are more confident in their opinions. Doesnt stop the usual anarchists at every labour demonstration to trash streets though.
>weed lmao xD is still illegal in some countries
Genuine honest response. Thanks man, I learned about french politics today.
No problems, glad you listened too. Kinda gets tiring after a while when everytime French politics gets brought up, theres always going to be a wave of foreigners responding stuff as if their entire knowledge was based upon the occasional Breibart/Sputnik headline on Jow Forums and would just dismiss you if you tried to actually explain things although I actually live here.
Well I appreciate you taking the time. Hope you have a good one today!
