I don't have any specific plans yet, but I want to go next summer, once I finished my second year of Japanese studies and will feel confident enough to manage myself in Japanese.
I think there are other synagogues in Japan (Chabad alone has three, two in Tokyo and one in Kobe), but that is probably the biggest one, and maybe the only one that welcomes goyim.

ah I didn't know that. also i googled Chabad. it's a school of Ultra Orthodox established in Lithuania? cool, "Jerusalem of the North". but i've never seen anyone with kippa on his head in Japan outside the formerly mentioned synagogue.
