According to this, purchasing power in Seoul is only 37% higher than in Warsaw. Not a big difference. For example Berlin has 50% higher purchasing power than Warsaw and Berlin is piss poor by western European standards.
South Korea isn't really that rich like people think given their living costs and labor law.

Depends on the region, honestly.
My city for example, is based on tourism, so foreigners who settle there don't feel too isolated and the views are nice. Wages are still far behind western level, but they're definetly going up and as it was said, life costs are cheap.
