It's not just protestants though. Why do you think your folk cloths have a head covering "babushkas' for married women. Or why your old grannies used to cover their hear to church even in summer. It was reversed in the Catholic church only in the 60s after Vatican II, and it didn't catch in all the countries either. Women in the Philippines tend to wear mantillas to church to this day.

There's nothing wrong with the Novus Ordo when done properly. Vatican II is fine as well, it's the implementation that's been problematic.

that is true, I live in a southern state and I often see boomers here come to church in shorts. Also many young girls will come to church in shorts or with their shoulders and décolletage exposed. Makes me cringe af. And they come dressed like that with their parents, how can anyone let their kids dress like hos and hobos to church is beyond me.
