Bullshit article. Poland is ready to pay for the development of needed infrastructure around bases (up to 2 bln dollar cost), meanwhile operational cost is being covered by the USA as usual. This infrastructure would be also useful for our army in context of interoperability.

USA invaded Afghanistan so it doesn't count. If the USA invaded Poland, it would also establish here bases for its troops. Bagram was used as a base by soviets, by Brits and eventually by Americans. It is not really permanent and exterritorial by law in its creation. US bases in Afghanistan are a result of conquest: they began their existence as barren outposts that were growing in size

Poland truly is worst country
When we already have an American base we will be able to dissolve our army because we won't need it anymore as no one dares to invade a country protected by the US so it's actually a good way to save money. 2 billion dollars is a small price comparison to our military expenses on our army which would be useless in the war against Russia anyway.
BTW since its Russians who are the most butthurt about the base, we are sure it's a good move.
