essentially, it all boils down to japan vs germany, then both can't finish off each other, as, assuming they are in a full war mode, an all-out war between this two great powers isn't something like bombing a third-world country, not to mention the distance. so, a stalemate with korea and poland suffering a devastating damage is the answer, which is reinforced by the fact japan and germany are para-nuclear powers, which aren't finished without causing a fatal damage to the opponent.
