FAQ:
>How do I learn a language? What is the best way to learn one? How should I improve on certain aspects?
Ideally take a class, otherwise buy (torrent) a well-received textbook for your language, google any grammar you have trouble with and no matter what do lots of translation exercises. Duolingo is fine to use in addition to whatever else you are but a poor idea to use on its own.
>When can I move on to a different language?
At a minimum of when you've gotten the grammar for your current language down, or being able to shitpost in its respective general without much effort.
>What language should I learn
If you have to ask, German. Russian if you especially want a challenge
>Should I learn X to get a qt wife/gf?
No, fuck off

Took a small quiz in Chinese and translating the sentence "How old are you?" I mixed up 今年 and 几年 and wrote 你几年多大. I got a perfect score on the quiz, but I didn't want to ask her if it was actually correct because worst-case senario it was wrong and she just missed my mistake. Can any chinks tell me if this is a valid way of asking age or nae?

play.google.com/store/books/details?id=COOiAwAAQBAJ (this one has an audiobook version too so you can listen while you read along)
having harry potter in korean is nice too since you can read along with the english/dutch version to check your understanding as you go
