1. Your country

>UK
>conquers primitive and tribal land overseas because theyd get btfo everytime they tried to hold a contentinental empire

Why do you spastics always say this?
The overwhelming majority of the empire was won from fighting other European nations. You should probably know since you had your shit kicked in ten ways from sunday.
The only native wars were in parts of the cape, the horn of africa and in india.

French influence was indirect, countries all over the world willingly adopted French democracy and civil law while the eternal Anglo forced his ""culture"" on indigenous peoples.
>completely falling for it
Genuinely disappointed by kara boga posters

the weak """"totally not european m8"""" """""""man"""""""" fears the EUROPEAN BVLL

You only stole New France, tho
And the funniest thing is that despite the fact we were outnumbered, we often beat the shit out of you but it's okay, some people are naturally good at fighter, it's not your case, it doesn't matter : in the end, you got what you wanted.

oh sweetie, Portugal was created by a Portuguese lad, son of a Burgundian noble who followed Germanic naming traditions... so... educate yourself

at fighting*

>Burgundian
FROGGED

it was usa tho

>1991
it was actually this

But he's right. The UK's decision to shift its focus to the world outside Europe stemmed from the fact that it proved unable to hold territorial possessions in continental Europe. This applies to every colonial power to an extent, but I know at least one country that greatly expanded its borders by being in a constant state of war with the HRE.
