Biltema

Whats Walmart like? Cheap store?

Not even close, Biltema is a hardware store.
Dollarstore is the closest we get to Walmart.

It's cheap but not like dollar store cheap but it Carrie's everything. At the super Walmart, you could literally go to the pharmacy, get groceries, buy tires, buy crumby clothes, buy toys, grab fast food, etc.

It's a mysterious nether realm that hosts diabolical beigs of all kinds. The sharting goblino on his goblinomobile, the soul devouring cashiers, you'll find anything at Walmart

>Dollarstore
If it's like are dollar store they are far off.

Everyday low prices and a plethora of services

Walmart, but besides Walmart, Superstore.

>cheap food
>snacks
>cheap clothes
>cheap home decorations
>cheap furniture
>cheap outdoors section

Shit like that in our Dollarstore's.

Oh yeah, I left out most of the fat, trashy, shatter pictures are taken at Walmart.

And Clas Ohlson is worse than Biltema patron-wise

It's a different dimension.

dunno, the employee stuff weirds me out
it's universally agreed on here that you can be a miserable cunt at work as long as you get on with things

Auchan

Ok yeah that sounds right. Ours just sell candy, cheap near expired food and garbage like $1 cooking implements that never work.

Prisma

Yeah half of Walmart staff are druggies on rehab. I see the fat fucks on shartmobiles everytime. Up in Appalachia I saw a family of fatties that literally smelt like shit and wore cammo from top to bottom

Leclerc/Carrefour/Auchan

I was more refering to the customerbase consistiong of nothing but 15 year olds with cheap cars and autistic fat people.

They put one in a wealthy town near me and I swear they were trucking the customers and employees in from some backwoods shithole.

>15 year olds with cheap cars
What? I guess you see a random A-traktor now and again but it's rare these days.
Most customers are middle aged men looking for tools and shit.
>t I work at Biltema

This, I live in a nice town with a pretty nice Walmart and it is far and away the #1 hotspot for police activity, constant shoplifting and such

I'm guessing the only comparable national chain of general department/grocery stores is Real, selling all sorts of stuff from groceries and clothes to bicycles and TVs. Kaufland follow a similar principle but with even smaller stores and selection. But even Real stores are neither quite as large as Walmarts, nor do they receive the same type of customers. The US seem to have a special unique kind of lower class loonies.

>receive the same type of customers
pity

I don't think we have one. HalpaHalli maybe? It's run by a religious family so they don't sell tobacco or alcohol.

>shartmobile

It's like manor or co-op but only poor people go there

We have lots of supermarkets. But the only non-pleb one is the Albert Heijn.

In the Netherlands the Lidl is often called a shop for Turks, unironically.

It's like Denner that would be the size of Migros.

Lidl. Especially now when my local Lidl store has opened a clothing/sports section.
Truth be told, I only shop at Lidl.

Seems that way.

In the 90's when self service and moving doors were still special..

And another.

Kek thats exactly what I thought after reading the other comments

Lider, owned by Walmart (nowadays it's just Walmart with another name, they carry Great Value products and stuff like that) mostly located in low-class neighborhoods.

are they docile creatures or do they become combative when provoked?

t. only knows Biltema from memes

Maxis was the fucking GOAT, but hypermarkets are forbidden now. (lol)

best not to take any chances

looks like a magical place

None, slavery is outlawed in Canada

Lidl is meme tier here. When you want to say something is of low quality and worth you say ..... from Lidl. It can be used for persons too.

Probably an Aldi or Lidl inside a poverty ridden working class neighborhood. It's at least where you will find all the crazies

>but hypermarkets are forbidden now.
what, and what?

Clas Ohlson och Biltema är ju sprängarens favoritbutiker

näst efter Bygg och Interiör, Byggmax

if you're looking for the mentally ill, pound shops are the place to go

I don't think many places have similar stores

You can get your car fixed, buy guns, hunting and fishing stuff, even live bait, groceries, prescription drug pharmacy, get your hair cut, pictures taken, taxes done, nail salon, and some have McDonalds inside

might have missed a bunch of stuff too

We got Walmart too but I prefer HEB.

Willys

It's not entirely true but all local government and the national government never hand out permits to stupid mega stores that take up too much space with too little functions. If you want a mall sized building you have to make sure it will actually be a mall and not a big supermarket.

Anyway we have Costco's but they only sell to business owners.

>america

>mega stores that take up too much space
Yeah land is not something you are known for having.

COOP Obs, but it's nothing like Walmart really. All kinds of people shop there.

FatBeanerWorkingatWalmartLosAngeles.gif

Well it's logical that in a country as cramped as the Netherlands the government isn't very eager to hand out grade A development land to a mega supermarket.

Oh, that makes sense

they dance like cheerleaders every morning before work

yes, exactly.

Growing up it was Zellers but now it's Walmart

Same here, no idea why this happens. Lived in a really nice, wealthy suburb outside of a city that had plenty of its own Walmarts and yet this one STILL was filled with societal garbage water

Why does this happen

I wouldn’t fuck with it

Large Tescos that have like electrical, clothes and video game sections. Wouldn’t rival Walmart’s for sheer variety though.

>Costco only sells to business owners

Wtf that’s horrible, Costco rules, Kirkland brand everything

I remember Tesco being about as big as a regular Walmart, but it’s dwarfed by the superstores.

No Costco free samples or quick food?

Attached: 0742f70a-281a-49c8-b766-030a2832ff38.jpg (1000x562, 133K)

Actually they have samples and a 'restaurant' which serves junkfood. Heaps of poorfags go there to eat all the samples and buy nothing.
They have membership only rules and at least the one I worked for (Sligro) only allows people with a chamber of commerce number apply for membership. Because they want to sell in bulk without taxes rather than to stupid customers that buy 1 of everything.

Tesco hypermakets are as big as you can get there. We simply dont have markets that size

But i only see polish looking people there

I've been to a Lidl once this year on a beer run and got into an argument with some eastern-European lady that cut me off.

Is walmart basically a big cheap store that sells everything ? If yes, then i guess the equivalent of it is Leclerc or Carrefour (although they don't really have a bad reputation). It's not a surprise that it appeals to the stereotypical trashy mall sharters

Auchan. Maybe some smaller local chains.
Used to be Metro also, but they sold business here recently

It’s a cheap store, but it doesn’t only sell cheap, low brand stuff. You can get good quality electronics, guns, and whatnot there.

Tokmanni

Attached: xlarge-tokmanni.jpg (894x369, 49K)

asda superstores from what i recall

we don't have anything directly equivalent, the walmarts i went into were much bigger and sold more types of things than any one store here

>mostly located in low-class neighborhoods
what?

why?
just why?

We've had wal-marts as far back as I can remember. They came to small towns in the early 2000s.

based

Walmart, thanks America

superstore or giant tiger
we have walmart too of course but that's besides the point

Attached: image.jpg (960x540, 236K)

oh man zellers was such a shithole

Unironic goblino containment zone

ASDA, pronounced "Azz-duh"
Stands for filename, used to be independent but was bought by Walmart decades ago. Now the Walmart sun is creeping over the horizon like a terrifying glimmer of American cultural colonialism.

This is why I shop at Tesco's.

Tianguis

One of the Wal Marts in my last town averaged so many police calls a night that the PD gave up and started stationing an officer there full time.

lol nej Överskottsbolaget

canadian tire, but they don't sell food, and they sell clothes through a different brand, mark's, but often share the store with them, especially in small towns

Attached: ctm.jpg (1000x526, 63K)

Maybe it's just the town I live in but the Canadian Tires here are pretty nice. They're clean, organized, and the people who shop there are civil and mind their own business. It's not really a supermarket store like Walmart anyways.

that's cool

Hot

Sounds like Tesco's except for the tyre part
