Dunno, I don't live in CDMX.
Any disaster big enough to be alarming is noticed almost immediately here in my city.
Tsunamis wouldn't hit the main city, hurricanes are pretty much impossible (one is coming through the state and completely missing us) and tornadoes have never happened.
Earthquakes are our only concern here and the last one major enough to be reported did like no damage whatsoever
