I think the problem is that Americans don't think of obesity as a disease.
Obesity is a type of disease that occurs because of hormones and organ abnormalities.
Genetic deformities, germs and viruses are also linked to obesity.
They need proper treatment, but they don't seem to think so.
Once you've gained weight, your metabolic function goes down and you can't lose weight easily.
