This is unfair. You don't have Polish or Romanian or Urdu signage in the UK. You don't have Uzbek or Tadzhik signs in Russia. So why are we so cucked?
Dunno :l
idk what triggers me more, Poland's German alphabet applied to a Slavic language or Russia's alien runeshit.
These commieblocks are ugly
get colonized by superior culture nasty p*le
Why do you give a fuck? Who said that Poland is only for Poles and that everything must be in Polish there? Why do you think that Russian/Belarusian/Kazakh/Ukrainian immigrants shouldn't make their lifes in your country more comfortable for themselves? Just because you're an 19th century nationalist?
Shouldn't it be in Ukrainian?
Also, I see same thing in Russia, but it usually turkish, because a lot of construction work in Moscow is done by turks.
And chinese this days everywhere.
>Russia's alien runeshit.
Didn't you use cyrillic in Yugoslavia?
yet another example of Russian influence
just because I want to speak Polish in Poland
we don't have only Ukrainians, also a lot of Belarussians, Moldovans, nowadays it's also Uzbeks, Tadzhiks and Armenians
they did in Serbia and Macedonia, not here in Slovenia. My parents learned cyrillic in school together with Serbocroatian as a second language, but that doesn't mean it was used in Slovenia in any capacity.
It could be worse
In Olsztyn sometimes when I ride the bus(like 106) 60-70% of the people are speaking ukrainian or russian and a lot of commercials(especially cellphone provider ones) are in ukrainian/russian.
Feels weird man.
Well, at least you don't see this.
For now.
I watched a docummentary about chink army stationing in Russian Syberia because they bought it out anyways.
As an American it truly is a slippery slope. Its not good to have segments of the population that can't communicate with the general society. It also holds them back. Sure it's fine if you want to wash dishes and toilets.
>just because I want to speak Polish in Poland
So? Does smth make you speak another language? Like, you've seen some Russian signs and now you have to speak Russian?
Still better than deal with ytopci. Think about it.
My granddad just left poland.
this banner looks Soviet-tier, but I guess Chinese like it
> Like, you've seen some Russian signs and now you have to speak Russian?
If I can't understand what's written on the sign it makes me learn the language the signs are written in.
Why do I have a feeling this wont be nearly as beneficial for Russia?
Seems Poles are tired of nationalism
>Polish or Romanian or Urdu signage in the UK
how about both on the same shop
a private shop aimed at immigrants is something different than signage in public places with warnings
If they want to speak Russian or whatever they can fuck off back to ukraine no one is frocing them to stay.
Why don't Western and Russian leaders focus on the obvious yellow enemy?
To be honest, they did the job and constructed the station in time.
Now they building enter new line somewhere else.
The same cancer, I wouldn't mind if you
ban them
I don't like chinks. No one like chinks, maybe except Canada.
But we have no choice. West literally pushing us into hands of China.
>it makes me learn the language the signs are written in.
After living in NYC, no but a lot of our signs are multiple languages.
If we are speaking about Ukrainian immigrants who are living in Poland, there are two types of them. First, people who are looking for better life. They are trying to get included in, how they think, European society, they learn local language, they try to accept local culture and manners. Usually they are students and entrepreneurs. Second type is about people who just need some money for their families in Ukraine. They go to Poland for 2-6 months to work 10-14 hours each day, then they go back to home. They are builders and different types of handymen. People from the first group know Polish and use it when they need to do it, people from the second group just don't need it.
>If I can't understand what's written on the sign it makes me learn the language the signs are written in.
Stupid logic. Try Google Translator if you are SO interested. Or try speaking to people, ask them what does it mean in Polish, that's not a big deal, if you are not an autistic nazi ofc.
Why should they?
Here Chinese companies often take part in public tenders but they're almost never allowed to win because we once let them build a highway and they didn't finish it so now the government is very suspicious of Chinese companies.
Most of companies building stuff here are Spanish, Italian, Austrian and Turkish ones. But the signs are in Russian anyway, because 80% of construction workers are Russian-speaking.
I saw this in Burger King.
The ATM where i am has english and french text, there's barely any frogs here though,
>just don't need it.
and they don't need it because we allow to put signs in Russian, if we didn't, they would have to learn little Polish at least
>80% of construction workers are Russian-speaking.
It's just your words, where is statistics?
They don't need it, practically. They live in Poland for a short period of time, their surroundings aren't Polish-speaking, Polish employers hire Ukrainian or Russian-speaking managers who administer these working groups.
It was the same here, before sanctions.
But now it mostly chinese, koreans and turks.
But for most of time they get the job done, probably because Moscow government have infinite amounts of money and they know they will get some kind of new contract straight away.
>If we are speaking about Ukrainian
youtu.be
Even USA doesn't have 80% construction workers as mexicans. If it's true your country is a joke
it's my personal experiences
but you don't have to believe me of course, whatever, the fact is that signs on construction sites are in Russian
>Polish employers hire Ukrainian or Russian-speaking managers who administer these working groups.
This is even worse. It shouldn't be like that. Actually I think they should pass a Polish exam before they're allowed to work in Poland.
They will assimilate, ukranians in us all speak english
Polish construction workers work in the west so we need workers from other countries. Americans don't have any place they could immigrate to so they can stay in their home country.
It true.
It mostly hohols and some people from Central Asia.
Also, I don't think that pole can tell ukrainian from russian.
I have a Polish coworker who goes back a few times a year. And he has noticed more and more Ukranians but hes also noticed many try to speak Polish and he even saw a couple speaking to their son in Polish.
They will not assimilate. Just like mexicans in US or tajiks and uzbeks in Russia.
Mexicans 2nd generation are largely assimilated and cant speak spanish
This, our bydlo live for a few years in uk and still can not make single sentence in English because they don't need to. They stay in Polish communites go to Polish shops etc. I don't want this to happen in Poland.
There are 2 lewiatans near me and in both of them cashiers cant speak Polish for shit. Now I have to go to the store which is futher away.
I like Norway's language policy, you can't get any job if you don't know Norwegian on a basic level at least.
Ukrainian and Polish nationalists - brothers forever. I hope they all will die together, maybe even kill each other.
>I think they should pass a Polish exam before they're allowed to work in Poland.
But why if the don't need Polish language PRACTICALLY? They come, they do their work, they leave, what's the problem? It looks like you want to make you country, language and culture more serious, powerful and, of course, relevan than they truly are. Also, you're very naive, because most of the Ukrainian temporary workers in Poland don't have any permissions for work, they just go and work illegally, through Polish orginizers.
WAHHH KURWA RUSSIA IS EVIL MY NATIONALISM IS WRAPPED UP IN LANGUAGE AND LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE
>I like
>I don't like
>I think
>They must
I've seen many Polish posts like these, but where are your arguments? Seems like a stupid TV-propaganda.
"Why? Just fucking because, how don't you understand?! That's obvious!"
yikes, this meemee can really just be painted in any colors, can't it ?
> you can't get any job if you don't know Norwegian on a basic level at least.
Bullshit. A lot of american chads work on oil industry in Norway and didn't know any word of norwegian language
Polans coupd grant permanent residency to all its ukranians and create polish language courses, i doubt polish would be very difficult
Ukranians and Russians here do assimilate in a generation. The parents usually speak English but can have a heavy accent. I can't speak to my cousin's wife's grandmother though. I think a lot of our Russian andbUkranian immigrants are educated though.
>putting warning sign for Russian monkeys
>Ukrainian and Polish nationalists - brothers forever.
lol, what's nationalist in simply wanting the country's official language to be spoken in this country?
>But why if the don't need Polish language PRACTICALLY?
They don't, because they have everything in Russian - signs, shops, contracts etc.
It shouldn't be like that.
>They come, they do their work, they leave, what's the problem?
>It looks like you want to make you country, language and culture more serious, powerful and, of course, relevan than they truly are
I just want to live in a country where I can use my native and the country's official language to communicate. Is it really too much?
I have to read Russian signs in public places in Poland. I can't understand what the cashier in my local shop wants from me. I can't ask a bus driver about where the bus goes because he doesn't understand me. This is like a Kafka's nightmare.
>Also, you're very naive, because most of the Ukrainian temporary workers in Poland don't have any permissions for work, they just go and work illegally, through Polish orginizers.
So it shouldn't be like that even more.
I think all euro immigrants to us already know English
Americans that work in oil are usually pretty skilled and it's a career not a temporary job for them, it's not like working in a restaurant or crying while peeling bananas.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What's happening? Feels like i was asleep for years!
I don't know about high positions, I'm talking about typical Polish jobs like construction workers, plumbers etc. If you go to Norway, you need to learn Norwegian a little.
>says Ukrainian
ask your government why it wants all people living in Ukraine to speak Ukrainian
Sadly this won't happen here. Jesus PiS is pissing me off so much because they act so mighty about refugees but they are doing exactly the same thing that happened to the west. Bringing people who don't even need to learn Polish at all and they are giving the bons or lower taxes for electricty etc. I am fucking second grade citizen in my own country
What worse I despise PO even more and I really don't see any alternative in the near future.
Well, I did not say that they are stupid, I said that they do not know the Norwegian language
>Ukrainian and Polish nationalists - brothers forever. I hope they all will die together, maybe even kill each other.
Chances are extremly high these days
Russian is easy to read compared to Polish, Polish is too chaotic
Better than niggers or sandniggers desu. I do not mind Ukraininans here, why are you so asshurt?
What are the pros of learning Polish?
>DFC
mmm..
meant for
I can unclog your toilet faster.
You can go to Poland and and bang polish K-Pop fangirls.
>get rid of Russian language from public space
no we didn't
You know what is better? No ukrainians or sandniggers and bigger wages or at least someone who bother to learn the fucking language, so when I am shopping I can ask cashier for something.
>Ukrainian and Polish nationalists - brothers forever. I hope they all will die together, maybe even kill each other.
maybe some special high ranking jobs but average jobs do require a basic understanding of norwegian. swedes usually understand enough to make themselves understood but they're usually the exception
Unfortunately world does not work like this, at least not in Europe and especially in our case. We joined the west, rejected communism and we have to play according to new rules. Open market, open borders, open societies. In fact we have a huge advantage over western countries becaue we allow mostly people who are similar to us. There is no in between in our situation no matter how hard it is to accept for you. In our case Ukrainians are blessing comparing to mudshits, so stop bitching like a little whore.
I'm sorry I do not speak/read orkish.
It only happens because PiS are looking for more slaves. We have huge dissapora or even people who were expelled to siberia or kazakhstan during coomie times and no one gives fuck about them and try get them back, instead we get ukrainians who have lower pricies for trains/electricty free studies/social care etc. something polak robak can dream off and in return they don't even have to learn Polish and after studies they fuck off to west anyway. We are supposed to catch up to Pepiks wages but they are running away from us and we are wasting our best time for shit like that. Don't even get me started on 500+.
strange. you are writing agnlosaxon pretty fine to me. and i saw you posting in goblin too. you made nice sentences in polish back then.
>It only happens because PiS are looking for more slaves.
Not PiS, but capitalism needs its slaves.
>We have huge dissapora or even people who were expelled to siberia or kazakhstan during coomie times and no one gives fuck about them and try get them back,
I guess it is cheaper to get an Ukrainian rather than getting our diaspora from Kazahstan or other far away countries. This is capitalism, get used to it. Money counts.
> We are supposed to catch up to Pepiks wages
We are much bigger country that suffered much more than Czechs. It will take more time for us to catch up but in a long term we have absolutely better possibilities. In order to achieve that we need cheap slaves like Ukros.
Better tell me what is this twitter message about Mr. Volga German.
>who were expelled
not really.
>Better
nope. enjoy your ignorance until muslim dick will start feeding your anti russian mouth with its sperm.
>Mr. Volga German.
you are projecting to much fuckface
Good thing our Bosnian immigrants speak the same language.
>I guess it is cheaper to get an Ukrainian rather than getting our diaspora from Kazahstan or other far away countries. This is capitalism, get used to it. Money counts.
I don't care, government job is to care for its people. If it's cheaper to get ukrainians, they should give benefits to the companies who are trying to get our dissapora. The rich ones should get lower taxes for couple of years if they want to start business in Poland and so one. Instead we are bending to ukraine and giving them free shit that robak have to pay for, and we have 0 benefits from it. Western countries for cheap labor got new free market on their terms and thanks to that they colonized us. We got nothing, only lower wages and inability to speak to bus drivers and cashiers. Memes aside there is no bigger cuck nation than us.
>We are much bigger country that suffered much more than Czechs. It will take more time for us to catch up but in a long term we have absolutely better possibilities. In order to achieve that we need cheap slaves like Ukros.
My point was that we were slowly catching up to them but that stopped thanks to milions ukrops and 500+, and now they are running away from us again.
>my grandad is turning in his grave
Who gives a shit lmao.
Polish, Russian, German and Hebrew shall be the official languages of Łódź.
Death to w*Rsowite scum.
>muh 500+ is bad!
>We have huge dissapora or even people who were expelled to siberia or kazakhstan during coomie times and no one gives fuck about them and try get them back
How is that going to be different from importing Ukrainians? Most of those Poles don't speak Polish anyway and are probably mixed with the other peoples expelled there.
Because people who have roots from the country they don't live in have this weird autism about "homeland culture". Best example are burgers larping as german/french or whatever because they found out that they are 1/32 german/french. Im sure rate of these people learning polish would much higher. They also deserve better life in Poland more than upainians because their parents/grandparents fought in the war or against commies in commie Poland. Simply Polish roots should be enough to prioritize them over some random people.
We are prioritized though, your government gives citizenship to us Polish-Americans like candy. All we need is one ancestor, no matter how distant, who was a citizen of Poland post-1918. As long as there is proof you're related to them and none of their descendants did something to lose Polish citizenship, in the eyes of the Polish government you are ALREADY a Polish citizen and all you need to do is to to the embassy and get your passport and national ID. No application process necessary, you don't even need to know a single word of Polish.
and I will also add that PiS has not done anything to make this process easier, PO went out of their way to make it more difficult. While they were in power they sealed away some public records that are useful for proving Polish ancestry, and they also required that you have to use Polish government records in your application or it will be thrown away immediately. Most Polish records are not easily accessible to Americans, were destroyed during some point in the 20th century, or are not digitized. Before this, US immigration and census records (all of which are extremely easy to access) were considered enough proof.
Zajebis
>The rich ones should get lower taxes
I completely agree with this Janusz. I am paying more taxes than salary of 60% of Poles
