Ugly as hell looks like an old man not a DOG
>Airedale, King of the Terriers
>ugly
May Mount Vesuvius erupt and ruin your spaghetti before turning you to ash
Last I checked the Caucasus wasn't in the British Isles
The all around best dog is a Llewellyn setter, a type of English setter so I have to agree with you.
They have some great ones, but they don't have the monopoly.
Do they have tales of bravery?
Close up.
These guys are pretty massive, as well.
They also have good cattos
Canada has the most popular dog in the world and the most based
uhh
I don't think labs are popular outside of north America. I could be wrong though.
huh
Bro you misspelled Germany
Labs and retrievers are sweet, but they're uber-generic. They're the Toyota of dogs.
hmm
mmm
Nefies are cute but they are hairy beasts.
What a good boy!
This is my German Shorthaired Pointer. He finds quail so I can shoot them.
Say something nice to him.
>has nipples
>he
In all seriousness Germans spent a shit ton of time in the 1800s making really good dog breeds.
I like Rottweilers and Poodles the best but there’s a ton of good German breeds.
Anglo dogs are more easygoing and cooperative; German dogs are just as smart but have a mind of their own. You have to show them who’s in charge.
Best hunting dog, would love to have one as my other dog for dove hunting
all doggos have nipples you spastic
Yeah this, they have a long history of rigorously and painstakingly breeding dogs. I love them for their intelligence and discipline. My boxer for example basically trained himself, behaves perfectly and knows what he should or shouldn’t do without my input. More careful and mannered than many people.
The Catahoula is a mixture of old French dogs and Native American breeds.
They are the most popular dog breed in the world. By far the most popular in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and the UK.
The countries with the largest registry of labs per capita are:
1.) UK
2/3.) France & USA (tie)
4.) Sweden
5.) Finland
They are undoubtedly the best hunters; best at retrieving, pointing, and one of the best noses. You don’t even have to teach them, it’s in their blood, it’s incredible to watch.
But they’re also crazy and have the worst manners of any dog I’ve ever seen. I’ve had a lab and a poodle and they were both chill and well-mannered, this one’s crazy.
Pointers are great but in modern times, and especially in North America a versatile setter or retriever is the better hunting pupper.
Pussy britbong dogs..this is a real IBERIAN DOG can do
I have had far better luck with setters and they are extremely well behaved.
The GSP is also the best retriever and has one of the strongest noses. It’s like the king of versatile hunting dogs.
I guarantee it has a stronger retrieving instinct than any other breed, look it up. It’s won more AKC field trials than any other breed.
It’s mostly a Weimaraner mixed with English pointer. But there’s some hound and vizsla there too.
Chinese dogs are better and tastier
Fucking love labs man.
My lab was the coolest dog ever but he died of cancer. Only reason I didn’t get another lab was because I live in an apartment and couldn’t deal with the shedding.
I really like Japanese dogs. They're very clean and aesthetic, al although autistic
I’m not gonna argue if that’s what you had better luck with. I just thought it was a cool dog.
When I was a toddler my dad had a Llewelyn setter, but I don’t remember anything about her.
I had one of these doggos growing up.
da best
You don't have to sell me on them, I love GSPs, I just find the llewellyn setters equally versatile, more easily trained, they have a built in wind vane, and they are called the 'gentlemen's breed' because of their temperament; calm and content in the home, active, nstural, and obedient in the field.
They aren't as prevalent in the AKC because they are relatively rare and only the US even considers them an independent breed. They were the favourite of Field & Stream in the early 20th century though.
nufies die super young
100% white aryan doggo haplogroup
I miss my sheepdog :'(
I just got my first lab 2 years ago. The shedding is insane, I had no idea it could be so bad. I have to sweep my house thoroughly at least twice per day and it's year-round.
I just got her out of a bath an hour ago, she got sprayed by a skunk this morning.
Great dogs though
see We had a Llewelyn (my grandmother lived next door to a breeder). I heard good things about them but I don’t remember anything about her
In America we have a breed called the English Shepherd but it’s from America
Also the Australian Shepherd is from America
They’re both basically border collies desu
That's true, a lot of the bigger breeds like St. Bernard and Mastiffs have similarly shorter life expectancies.
Best kot: Russian Blue (Arkhangelsk)
Best dog: Caucasian ovcharka (Caucasus)
Belgian shepherds are by far one of the most reliable dogs but I don't see them around outside of military and police in my area. He barely sheds at all when it comes to hair, despite the length. The Swiss shepherd in pic sheds FUCK TONS.
Best mid-sized dog.
cute :3
kek, the dogs were literally the tipping point for submitting the indigenous rebellion in puerto rico
Those dogs are legend desu
Bosnia's national animal is a sheepdog lol
must be a pain in the ass dealing with the furr
a reflex of the country
I thought Belgian shepherds were always black?
Breeders say it requires 30-45 minutes of grooming per day.
My dog is fucking insane with a frisbee. Any kind of fetch he loves but he gets insane air with a disc.
Cute onaholes ITT
>30-45 min daily
o hell no
Based thread, every1 poast your dogs :3
that's not a san bernardo
best dog ever, we all know it, and i think it was introduced by the Dutch East India Company to the world, including England
THIS DOG is 100% Finnish
Karelian Bear-Dog, part bear: part dog
italian dogs>british dogs>russian dogs>japanese dogs>german dogs>rest>>>>>>>shit>american dogs
also from china
the best doggo unironically.
Irish and Welsh Terriers best terriers.
Dutchies are responsible for some great breeds.
nah, you just seperate the dreads by hand so they dont get matted and you're good, do you really thing shephards would spend an hour grooming their dog delicately every day when theyre in the middle of nowhere?
For me, it's Bunnies
Best kot here
Belgians come in 3 different coat types (short, long, wire) and 3 different colours (Tervuren, Groenendael and "grey" -which is classified under Terv). Here is my Terv's niece who is a grey.
For me its the border collie
The smartest dog breed
I like boxers
post boipussy you little faggot
england forever cursed us with these demons
They have a ridiculously short lifespan.
Never mind, someone gave me b.s. information.
Incorrect opinion
*takes aim at u*
I got bit by one on my ass bc its owner was retarded and didn't train it. I think it was just trying to playful. Still like them.
as always, France does it best
I can't imagine a French guy owning a Brittany. It's popular here for hunting ducks, and only hardcore rednecks have Brittanys.
popular among hunters here in the south west, grew up with them
and they come from here, I'm actually surprised you have them in the US
Can't argue with that.
They're all similar but not the same.
English Shepherds are based as fuck and I used to own one
Dios mio...
I hate to give the French credit for anything, but these big guys are based.
Labs are based and you can't deny that
I prefer Goldens, but yeah, labs are based.
Looks just like my Pyrenees.
I guess goldens don't fucking shed so much fucking everywhere
Nah, they’re just as bad.
Best doggo by far
We also produced the worst dog on the face of the earth.
I have an Airedale, they're good
