Western-Europe right now lacks everything ranging from building materials to carpenters, truck drivers, welders, list goes on and on. There are signs of the economy overheating again and in general we are simply catching up for everything lost between 2008 and 2014.

Our wages are lower, taxes MUCH higher unless your name is Royal Dutch Shell of course and cost of living is higher or comparable if you live in places like California.
All those charts you see where America ranks below the Netherlands and sometimes even Germany is just pure bullshit. Life's great over here but it doesn't compare. I have been to the USA and your standards of living are only reserved for our upper class.
