looks nice enough

Looks pretty comfy, what are those plants?

>living near reagan's house

norcal > socal

They’re just trees planted to make it look nice. The building is now a museum.

An interesting example of native mexican architecture mixed with neoclassical anglo. Those windows are a staple on colonial mexican architecture, nearby my city's main square we have a multitude of houses with that design.

Mexicans didn't settle in California, those were Californios.

I lived outside a town but my childhood home was built in 1900 (with some additions and modest renovations in the 70’s) so that’s something
I guess it’s older than most African countries and independent Australia so that’s cool

I didn’t know they were common, that’s neat.

Natives did.

here's the church in my city that started construction in 1370

First mention of a church on this spot was made in 1307*
here's a painting of the church that was made in 1696

Did they keep adding to it over the centuries?

It only changed twice in the past 500 years according to wikipedia
It kind of looks underwhelming on pictures but the church really is stunning when you see it in real life desu

(Talking about the exterior)
I'm starting to notice that I'm not functioning well, I'm heading to bed as I havent had much sleep in the last few days

Pretty impressive church for something started in the fourteenth century. In California we have a medieval building some crazy guy bought from Europe, took apart, and rebuilt here, but otherwise nothing older than the 1700s.

You're like a little baby. Watch this

Made between 1194 and 1220 in France

The oldest structure in my city is this pyramid built in the 3rd century BC.

All of it? Because those are damn impressive spires and arches. There's a church like that in the United States that I've been to, but it's only like 200 years old.

Yup. It's absolutely massive in real life. 113 meter tall. It dwarfs than the Notre Dame of Paris.
And those stained glasses you see? Those are from the 1200's too, the French hid them during the second World War and preserved them.

Unfortunately I'm unable to post anything of value from Hungary before the 1300, as most of our churches and buildings weren't that elaborate and a lot of them burned down.
Pic related is from the 1250's.

bet i could knock that down in an hour with a sledgehammer

This is one of the oldest buildings in my city. Built in the 20's, not so long ago.

I'm not sure if this is the oldest building within city limits, but it certainly is older than the city itself. From pre-independence times, at least late or mid 1700s.
