Boxing is neato. I grew up around it, but never was very good
>I left it all behind
Why?
And how do you supplement your grappling?
/ausnz/
>why
Not interested, don’t want to spend 3 hours a day training soviet-style, instead of doing something I might enjoy
>supplement your grappling
I don’t quite understand the question
That's understandable. Was the state sponsoring you, or were you independent? I looked up master of sports, but I don't understand the system
>the question
Were you only boxing? America has been mma-obsessed for years. Most American boxers usually supplement their ground work with wrestling or muay thai or something. Pure boxing is rare here
Did you and people you know support khabib?
>state sponsoring
No. Why would it? Junior master of sports candidate is literally who. You just win some literally who tournament consisting of 3 fights and get it. It’s sheer luck tbqh, I only had 20 “real” matches in my whole life.
We have those Soviet era Houses of Sport, where everyone can train for free and if he wants/has some talent, he can attend free championships. Chess, boxing, gymnastics, fencing, etc; usually have it all
>only boxing
Semi-seriously yes, only boxing. I tried sambo (Russian version of judo), Muay Thai, Greco-Roman in my earlier years but not because I needed it for “””””something”””””
No. None of my friends supported him. Although only 1 person even cared enough at all.
Do you mean they don't follow it or they support Connor because the don't like caucasians?
Almost nobody cares about fighting, and that’s understandable. Even leg-sphere is more entertaining than that
Ah. "Master of sports" sounds masterful, and typically you're aristocratic and prestigious, so I assumed
>only boxing
That makes sense. I only really like boxing, but my family obsesses over flip martial arts. My uncle's one of America's best, but he got robbed at gunpoint, so it wasn't much help in the end
>"""""something"""""
What do mean? Like another purpose, or a prerequisite?
Also, another thing I've been thinking about: does Russia have many Jews, or partially-Jewish people? Almost everyone Russian I speak with seems to be part-Jewish somehow
>Almost nobody cares about fighting
American's like talking and bragging about it, but few actually fight. Our conflict is 95% words or guns, with little in between
