Yep, sometimes genes combine in different ways. I know a girl who is brown haired and eyed and her brother is blonde and blue eyed. Yes it's the same father you can tell by the facial features.

Personally I can't make blue eyed babies. I got a DNA test and I have two copies of the dark gene for eye color and I also have two copies of a gene that make me produce no body odor, that is almost exclusive to east asians. The combination of these two genes would make me 99% likely to be east asian, yet here I am. Anyway my definition of white is blue eyes and european facial features. Hair color is sort of irrelevant but usually dark blonde.
