for one its really expensive
several types of colours, several types of brushes
Secondly, its really hard, and not like hard in a way that once you finish it, you dont feel good about yourself, infact you just hate it every step of the way and there is no way to fix any mistakes if you even accidentally drop a single bit of paint on it.
Thirdly it has no commercial value and noone gives a shit about paintings except for boomers
and lastly it look bad 90% of the time.
Most people who make art or design for a living hate painting, its only a handful of crazy redhair artists and amateurs that make garbage that likes it
