I'm sure that's a hyperbole
It's not. Fucking gypsies.

Greedy jew
>that flag

Chestnuts suck anyways at least the ones sold by carts operated by muslims in NYC sell.
I mean the ones they sell on the street already roasted.
How do those taste? Part of this town almost drowns in them, but I have never tried any chestnuts.
Patrician choice user. I live in the canton of chestnuts so its like a tradition here.
>buying literal nuts from street cart vendors
NYC confirmed third world
Really good. You need to peel them, btw.
It's something they do all over Europe dumbass
Difficult to explain. Their kinda sweet imo
Based
it's true, they are not gypsies but paki/ bengalese ppl. 1 chestunut ( marrone not that in pic) 0,50 €
pretty outrageous
do you also celebrate magosto like Galicia and Portugal? :3
>tfw picked up like 5 kilograms of chestnuts in a week
Do other countries play conkers with horse chestnuts?
Such a patrician game.
mmm nope
I always roast them too much and it tastes like shit
yep, too bad this year was shitty for them, little chesnuts in size and amount
In London they have plenty of chesnut trees but only asians collect them. It seems whites don't like them for some reason., although I believe swiss eat a lot.
>chestnut season returns
Everyone around here has been complaining about chestnuts. I've heard from some that the chestnuts in the forest near them were all very small, others talked about all of their chestnuts being black. I went and picked a bunch and they were big and nice but when we cooked them, the skin wouldn't go off and the other half went bad.
>not eating them raw
Holy shit, I saw a guy doing this last week
>chestnuts in the forest near them were all very small
Same here
>Holy shit, I saw a guy doing this last week
There is literqly nothing wrong with eating them raw dude
Ive been doing it all my life
The chestnuts I've gathered are full of worms, like 1 out of 10 is untouched by the little bastards.
>raw
>boiled
Nah famlam, only cooked in the oven, forness or fireplace.
Yummy
That's nasty
>That's nasty
It isent
We eat a lot of those in the Alps, good taste user :)

Maybee in ur contry
it's currently at 5 €/kilo, it's crazy expensive right now.
they are bland
Will grab some when I get the chance then, thanks.
This town has loads of them as well. Children usually collect them to make decorations for their classrooms, but I don't know of any people eating them here.
