Is this that guy who believe he could defeat the Russian empire with only a 1000 soldiers and lost something like 90% of his forces in a single battle?
no. he was a dreamer but not THAT dumb.
Happy Birthday
Thanks Hans :)

You don't fool me. Hilter had blue eyes and straight hair
>The annihilator of the Armenians
>The gutter of the Greeks
>The killer of the Kurds
>The butcherer of the British
>The rapist of the Russians
>The affliction of the Arabs
The biggest Kara Boğa of them all
happy birthday paşam
Karım size feda olsun paşam!
>larped as le demogratic rephormator to win a revolution
>created a plan of annihilating minoroties because muh pan-turkism
>such a cuck had to wait for a WW start in order to realize his plan
>lost to Russia with an army twice as big, almost got killed himself
>got his ass saved by an Armenian soldier,
>ruined country beyond repairing
>got dismissed from minister post even before the government's capitulation
>Kemal BTFOd by rejecting to return to Anatolia
>collaborated with commiesand SR
>However Enver’s personal weaknesses reasserted themselves. He was a vain, strutting man who loved uniforms, medals and titles. For use in stamping official documents, he ordered a golden seal that described him as ‘Commander-in-Chief of all the Armies of Islam, Son-in-Law of the Caliph and Representative of the Prophet.’ Soon he was calling himself Emir of Turkestan, a practice not conducive to good relations with the Emir whose cause he served. At some point in the first half of 1922, the Emir of Bukhara broke off relations with him, depriving him of troops and much-needed financial support. The Emir of Afghanistan also failed to march to his aid.
Just admit that the guy was a brainlet, Mustafa Kemal was better in every way possible.
SEETHING arm*nian poster. Keekekekekeek
>lost to Russia with an army twice as big, almost got killed himself
blatant lie. forces were evenly matched russians even lost 30k soldiers, but we lost more and lost the battle in general.
>ruined country beyond repairing
he literally reformed turkish army. while he was the head of army, gathered the biggest ottoman army since 300 years. Army performed considerable well compared to its Balkan Wars performance.
>got his ass saved by an Armenian soldier
in your dreams maybe :dd
>collaborated with commiesand SR
his aim was to get an army from soviets to come back to anatolia to save turkey while larping as a commie. he could not fool russians.

you do realize he was married to a sultan's daughter right? he could've easily lived a wealthy life in Germany after the war but he chose to fight for his ideals. And the dispute between him and Emir of Turkestan starts from Emir acting like a retarded anyway. It was not her fault at all.
I could've give you some academic sources to broaden your horizon about him but the sources are mostly in Turkish.
his fault*
>blatant lie. forces were evenly matched russians even lost 30k soldiers, but we lost more and lost the battle in general.
pic related.Ottomans had a weighty superiority there.
>he literally reformed turkish army. while he was the head of army, gathered the biggest ottoman army since 300 years. Army performed considerable well compared to its Balkan Wars performance.
He dragged Turkey into WW1 because of ties with Germany and also to realize his plans of pan-turkism, which led to some of the most controversial pages of Turkish history that chase the country even today.
Now I know you don't like this but Armenians had pretty important role in the Empire's economy and army, getting rid of them caused pretty big damage to the Ottoman war industry
>in your dreams maybe :dd
''This was the single worst Ottoman defeat of World War I. On his return to Constantinople, Enver Pasha blamed his failure on his Armenian soldiers, although in January 1915, an Armenian named Hovannes had saved his life during a battle by carrying Enver through battle lines on his back.''
>his aim was to get an army from soviets to come back to anatolia to save turkey while larping as a commie. he could not fool russians. except Turkey did pretty well under Kemal's gov, and he larped as a commie to fool Lenin as well and succeeded

Don't know much about this, so I'll pass this one.
SEETHING! How is the view of the AĞRI?
hbd B&R man
>pic related.Ottomans had a weighty superiority there.
yes we had numerical superiority but they had their own advantages since they were defending. regardless, i'm not trying to justify a loss. we lost the battle but it was not our worst loss.

We didn't join the German side because we favored Germans,(eventhough most of Ittihat ve Terakki had symphathy toward them) we negotiated with Great Britain and France(not sure about that one) about our potential role in Allies side. Even Talat Pasha(he was one of the people who thought we should ally with GB) himself went to negotiate at some point but they shut the door down on us. At that point we had no choice to enter the war on German side. I'm not knowledgable enough to comment on Armenian role in economy(though i know they were influential) and economic effects of ww1.
>except Turkey did pretty well under Kemal's gov, and he larped as a commie to fool Lenin as well and succeeded
Why do you imply that the people who like Enver doesn't like Ataturk. I guarentee you every Turk who likes Enver also likes Ataturk. And most of us do know that Ataturk in general was much more successful. Enver is generally loved for its ideals and the fact that he went to the grave for them. He is seen as a patriot, maybe not so smart, but a brave Turk.
whew badly formatted and full of typos. i should read before i post.

Because he had pretty radical and impractical ideas to begin with, being an Armo myselfvit's obviousthat I stand against the fact that one man's dreams lead to the biggest unrepairable loss of my nation. You see, Hitler had similar ideas too, but in modern Germany he's viewd with skepticism, whereas Enver, despite being very controversial, somehow escaped that faith.
Also afaik Enver and Kemal had pretty bad relations, so it's logical to conclude that liking one would mean disliking the other. But of course they both belong to your history, view them the way you want.
>I'm not knowledgable enough to comment on Armenian role in economy
well, if anything
