mig 21 is cool as fuck but much less versatile

Still the most sexy plane ever.

there were hundreds of US planes for every vietnamese plane in the air. It's called a target rich environment. Americans often had to compete for kills because there were so few enemy planes up. In air to air combat throughout the war the US shot down more planes than they lost. The vast majority US aircraft were downed from ground fire.

Not to imply that the vietnamese didn't have some very skilled pilots though. They definitely knew what they were doing.

Lmao that fucking nose

CFTs are sexy

Very good looking planes

Why did the Nazi tards never serj6ously invest in heavy bombers? As the Allied air forces were leveling the Reich their benefit should have been obvious.

Post turboprop training planes

Attached: PC-7-TEAM-19_c_-Swiss-Department-of-Defence_-Public-Defence-and-Sport-DDPS.jpg (1000x667, 116K)

They were low on supplies as it is and couldn't even keep enough fighters in the air.

Attached: jjj.jpg (1024x512, 119K)

We don't have one

Stop your embargo agaisnt us we had to buy american planes to replace our PC7

We had an arms ambargo against Mexico?

Didn't know that. How come? I knew that we don't sell anymore to Saudi Arabia and shitholes like that, but why not to you guys?

idiotic doctrine in the early war years: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luftwaffe#The_Wever_years,_1933–36
and once this mistake was finally realized, the need for fighters was far greater than any concern about heavy bombers

Attached: vihuri.jpg (1050x653, 102K)

You still have
We were planning to buy 60 to 90 PC9s but since we used the PC 7s as close air support during the 1994 rebellion in Chiapas your governent said the planes were for training not for war so you placed an embargo
Pilatus still sent a couple of PC 9s but since it would be hard to obtain spares n shit the air force went with the american at6 to replace the 90 PC 7 being retired
The 2 PC 9s were later sold to Ireland I think

Sorry to hear that. There are discussions in our government right now to loosen the regulations on weapons and military exports. So maybe this will change soon.

I like the Tucano over the Super Tucano mostly because of the more aerodynamic canopy, instead of the bubble that the ST has.

What did they have before?

Mexico has Sukhoi?

>idiotic
Did you mean "not subhuman"?
>Knauss promoted the Giulio Douhet theory that air power could win wars alone by destroying enemy industry and breaking enemy morale by "terrorizing the population" of major cities. This advocated attacks on civilians.[23] The General Staff blocked the entry of Douhet's theory into doctrine

Don't we all love us some Russki planes?

Attached: MiG-29_FULCRUM.jpg (1152x760, 354K)

I like the Su-34 more, tell me, which other plane in the world has dogfight capabilities and a toilet?

Attached: file.png (2200x1080, 1.95M)

No, India. Sukhoi 30 MKI.
I know jackshit about planes despite studying aerospace engg lmfao Can't even tell if that's a good model or not.

Oopsie hehe.

If you don't know anything about planes, why are you studying Aerospace eng.?

It's interesting how US x Russian aircrafts have compeltely different philosophies on building, but they manage to reach the same capabilities.

fatboi won't be seen for a while, since it must get certificates and shit.

Is rotary wing OK?

I wish I had one of these things. My dad had the opportunity to buy one in the early 90s for pretty cheap but he didn't.

Milsurp aircraft is allowed to be sold there?

Are you kidding? This is america. You can buy a tank if you want to and you know where to look. You just can't arm the the stuff. Tank guns will be sealed and there usually no working machine guns.

meant for

The failure of the Vietnamese airforce also lay in the fact that the standard Soviet AA turned out to be fucking garbage, they had gotten access to an American AIM 9 Sidewinder which they tried to reverse engineer and the program led to the development of the K13 Vympel but it was a pathetic attempt as it was later found out that the missile simply didnt work

It's not because of >muh 'merica but i'm talking more about Air legislation, one thing is buying a Humvee or a disarmed tank, a former military helicopter is completely different.

Attached: file.png (600x400, 343K)

As long as you have a pilot's license you are good to go.
