I have been here for 5-6 years by now. Since the 2016 elections Jow Forums seems to leak everywhere and derail board related discussion.
I often agree with their views like with gamergate, but I would prefer if they stayed on Jow Forums and kept politics over there.
Jow Forums isn't the only board leaking everywhere (Jow Forums and /lgbt/ also do), but they are the most annoying. Imagine if a board like /mlp/ would behave the same and shit up all discussion without getting banned and their posts deleted.

I think there are lot more people illegitimately complaining about Jow Forums then there are actual Jow Forums people shitting board up. politics is a very innate thing and springs up in a lot of different place, I wouldn't blame all of it on Jow Forums

I agree. It is pretty annoying to see how people tell you to fuck off back to Jow Forums for having the slightest dissenting opinion without addressing any of your points. They can easily be more annoying than the people they complain about.
I mostly have a problem with the people who for example manage to derail some thread about fitness into some discussion about jews or blacks.
I believe that it mostly are redditors who blindly repeat things they hear on Jow Forums or just try to be edgy, but it can be pretty terrible for board quality if every thread turns into the same off-topic mess.
