fortnite has lots of kids playing and they are fickle. once a new shiny thing comes around fortnite is done. it also has no competitive scene which has kept games like league of legends, cs go etc popular for years.

It's somewhat true. In a recent ltt video they invited some kid to fix him up a videogame PC. After the deal was done the host proposed him to try out some fortnite and he said "nah, they dont play it at my school anymore"
