Why do Europeans think it's acceptable to extort innocent tourists who need to relieve themselves?
Why do Europeans think it's acceptable to extort innocent tourists who need to relieve themselves?
I hate it too, actually when I will create my political party it's gonna be one of the key points of my programm because many can relate
RUPEE FOR A POOPEE
those are made for dumb wh*Toids just go behind a car and relieve yurself
What you want the state to pay for cleaning your shit? Freedom ain't free.
t. literal nigger
>Not stepping over the barrier
>go on holiday to Germany
>stop off at a service station
>jump over these stupid barriers
Nothing personal jerry
If I saw one of these I'd just shit on the floor in protest.
sorry we outdid you in capitalism, l*af
First time I seen one of these was getting off the train at Amsterdam centraal.
I had held a shit from Dublin till then. I had no cash, so I jumped the barrier and ran to a stall. Had some prick bang on the door while dropping a load.
2/10, not my best shit.
I remember when I had to piss outside the train station in khmelnitskiy because I didn’t have any cash. Fucking station employee was patrolling around too, probably looking for pissers
The €0.50 is for the cleaning lady. Also since apparently all of you are from paradises these things often are guarded for a reason, go read Christiane F if you wonder why
How Chinese of you
I could see if it was really nice with an attendant but it's not it looks like any bathroom.
Often you can go for free if you scan a receipt from the nearby store. But ironically it's the McDonalds in my city which has done away with this principle.
Funny in evil capitalist U.S. we managed to pay for bathrooms with taxes and sales.
This one is from our capital's bus station. Looks like something made to break you.
You don't have any public bathrooms.
>come to Europe to fuck local women
>think you can do it for free
we're chariging you for euro pussy on every step Pierre
They literally have open pissing booths all over Amsterdam center
Usually the rationale is not to allow homeless people to use them, but I remember you can't even get inside Amsterdam centrale without a ticket. You can't even look at station map without scanning it on a turnstile. I had to go in and and out twice before I found where my train is supposed to be.
you want a clean toilet right? who's going to pay the cleaners and for the toilet paper and stuff
the state, which also pays to keep the streets clean
t. commie socialist
Those things are deployed during public events over here to stop people from pissing all over cars, staircases and bicycles.
Our trainstations are closed off for non-ticketed people because historically they have always been popular hang-out spots for drug dealers and urban youths. They're also private property of the railroad company.
The state, the business (they pay cleaners to clean the rest of the place) local government, transit authority, etc.
>deployed during public events
I spent a week in Amsterdam and those were always on streets. Right next to monuments, landmarks and shit.
No major events were held at the time.
t*urists deserve it
Cmon, borris. Hardly gonna shit in one of them
Amsterdam Centraal had the most confusing layout for me. Took a while following W.C signs to find the toilet, nevermind the train back to the airport.
This. You'd think lolbertarian new worlders would praise such measures.
>in Amsterdam
During tourism season the population of that city is like 30% higher than it is right now. In terms of visitors every day is a public event.
Average tourist in Amsterdam is some poor as fuck 3rd worlder who sleeps in a hostel/Airbnb and buys Heineken from the supermarket.
There's actually permanent open air toilets in Amsterdam too.
In the USA they don't have public toilets but rather just go to the Mcdonalds or Starbucks and then pretend like it's a public service.
Fucking americans... They spend all their time bitching about our socialism, and when you finally listen and turn into the ideal capitalist scum they wish you were they still bitch about it.
I think that's better.
Just because they will piss on historical building than (which is like any building in center of Amsterdam?)
And acid from a piss will destroy everything. Seriously.
>open air toilets
The Amstel truly is the Ganges of Europe.
Jesus Christ Amsterdam is disgusting, mainly due to drunk/high tourists.
Tbf, Amsterdam is a dirty place.
Any other city in the Netherlands is 1000x better
The problem with tourists in Amsterdam is that most of them are
1. poor
2. permanently drunk/high
I can guarantee you the municipality has to clean up more puke in Amsterdam than they do in London or Paris. Most retards that go to visit Amsterdam only do it so they can walk around the center intoxicated.
>healthcare??!?! fuck off commie
>publically funded shitters?? YES PLEASE!
It's a fucking mess. People literally come to Amsterdam with the intent of getting wasted/high and then start pissing and puking everywhere. It doesn't compare to the type of tourism any other city in the world has to deal with (except maybe Barcelona)
The're poor but they bring alot of money so since Nederdraad people are ok with that and goverment also, what can actually be changed?
'talians do that
Nobody is okay with that. They don't bring any money.
Like half the tourists in Amsterdam are just Spanish/Israeli/Eastern-European/Southern-European poorfags that manage to stay in Amsterdam through hostels and Airbnb (which everybody hates) and buy all their food from McDonalds/Buger King, also buy their drinks from the supermarket.
This is a very known problem which is why the municipality has put a stop on fastfood restaurants in the center and is banning Airbnb. They don't add anything to the local economy since they don't do anything other than walking around throwing Burger King wrappers on the ground.
>muh coffeeshops
I much preferred Rotterdam or Harlaam.
The Netherlands is a lovely country. Its just a shame your capital is legit shithole.
Still not happy about tolls to use the toilet in Amsterdam Centraal.
Haarlem is fucking great.
Also you don't have to tell me. All memories I have from my trips to Amsterdam are full of disgusting moments starting when I get out of the train and see trash everywhere and ending when I return home again. It's a dirty as fuck city.
It's just 50 cents and at least the toilets are clean. It's not like they're unstaffed. And there are change machines or personnel there if you don't have the coins ready.
The free train station toilets always smelled like absolute rotten shit and were dirty af.
Nothing better than a relaxed shit in a clean toilet to pass the time before departure.
What is the best city in Ireland to visit? Dublin or Cork?
Dublin is like Amsterdam. It's filthy, overcrowded with tourists, and at night most streets around the main center are filled with vomit.
Cork is lovely as is every other city on the island with the exception of Belfast.
Whenever someone tells me they're visiting Ireland my first response is to go outside of Dublin.
Dublin has most of the history and art galleries though, if that's your thing.
Personally, Kilkenny is probably my favourite town.
What about Utrecht and Hague?
I've been to Amsterdam already and will be coming again in May, but want to spend some time in other cities.
Did a day trip to Naarden last time, it was absolutely fantastic.
real residents take a shit or piss in their homes, destination, or the couple secret, clean and free bathrooms they know about which they won't even share to their spouse.
to*rists and other scum have to pay because they don't belong there.
I'm really bad at telling people where to go. Most of our cities are nice to visit, imo.
The Hague is preppier than Amsterdam, Utrecht I don't really know, it's always seen as a smaller version of Amsterdam over here.
The thing is that in general Amsterdam has more to offer for tourists than all our other cities combined minus Rotterdam which is a thing on it's own.
