Why do Americans hate trade unions so much?

What's wrong with representing the interests of workers and trying to improve safety standards and the benefits they recieve?

Surely all these corporations in America, with their billions of dollars of profit every year can afford to improve working conditions and raise wages?

Didn't Walt Disney fire all his animators for "communism" because they wanted more pay.

because they are not a little unimportant shithole country like ours. if trade unions had as much power in america, as in say france, they would lose their status as #1 economy and superpower, and all their companies would go to china.

Unions are the aids of this country. They are anything but mobs.

American workers earn higher wages than europoors despite (or because of?) the absence of unions.

Americans think of themselves as potential millionaires so they regard pro-worker sentiment as an attack on their own interests

To the uninitiated observer it may appear that the American is a brainwashed dullard who parrots what he hears and votes against his interests, but this could not be further from the truth. The average American is mastermind, an economic genius who grapples with his peers in a high-stakes masquerade. Everyday in the US factions rise and fall like pawns in this great game, and the actions of the american players are always taken a thousand steps ahead, the meaning of these moves unknowable and unintelligible to all but the brightest of foreigners.

this is why world revolution is necessary

America never had a strong labour movement (always demonized as "socialism"), they've always been classcucks who think you ought to be grateful for the scraps. It's similar in Canada with Canada Post going on strike, all I ever hear is "hurr durr they're already overpaid, they just need to get back to work like the rest of us" where people don't understand that if the workforce was more unionized we'd all be better off.

>"hurr durr they're already overpaid, they just need to get back to work like the rest of us"
People say that everywhere i believe. Especially when it's a strike that affects them, but a bit in general for every strike.

He's a retard. Pitched gun battles occurred over labor rights in West Virginia and the unions dominate politics in many Democrat areas.

Unions had power here up until the 80s

What gives if your average American Joe is fucked over with little to no paid vacations and zero medical insurance where anything serious is going to bankrupt him?

No the company you work for gives you those in order to attract workers
