Getting old: I identify as an attack helicopter.

New: "what were Micheal Jackson's preferred pronouns? He/heeeeeeee!"

"what did the 19th century non binary prospector shout? There's gold in them/their hills!"

Thoughts on tall women, fellas? My friend got a girl that towers over him (she's like 6'2 and he's around 5'10). They seem happy enough. Kinda makes me want to have one.

Always wanted a tall gf. Any gf really, but a tall one would be particularly nice.

Regardless of origins it's an ideal time for sales with christmas so near and I like getting the things I want for less money.

Finished the christmas gift shopping and got some clothes, games and other equipment for myself.
>im not going to be pressured by social hysteria and our culture of mass consumption into buying something just because of a blatantly contrived marketing scheme to stimulate consumerism
Nor should you. I see it as an opportunity to buy things I was going to get anyway but at a more attractive price rather than an invitation to spend mindlessly.

>Few bits and pieces.
Anything interesting?
>primefag
If I was willing to pay more to avoid waiting I'd just use the traditional shops.

I refuse to be beaten on OC production levels by anyone not from Napoleon's forest department. Christmas spirit is stronger than the power of yikes.

>Anything interesting?
Cheap tablets for the family, dashcam, phone cases, VR headset (cheaper one but should do the job).
>pay more to avoid waiting
All those free Twitch subs and books though!

Attached: 1528529759415.png (1119x895, 143K)

Why do so many Dubs hate the idea of Irishness?

Because Dubs aren't really Irish and they hate anything that threatens or defies their anglo-american "culture".

>Cheap tablets for the family
The fire tablets and the like? They're amazing value for the price.
>dashcam
For your insurer or just security?
>VR headset
PSVR is one of the things I'm waiting on. Guessing you got an oculus? What games are you planning to play on it?

Attached: 1543357149476.png (500x441, 159K)

There's no problem with Irishness as citizenship/nationality patriotism is good, Nationalism (Wherein you think a country is the nation/native peoples or tribes homeland) or racialism isn't. Why be proud of something you can't control? They're connected to the rest of Europe and America while the bogtrotters consider anybody outside their tinyvillage a different race and everybody from outside Ireland from another planet, it's clear what's healthy and booming while the other moves to become Dubs while the other ages and is lowly populated.
Get real there's no cultural difference unless you're living in one of the 7 gaeltachts. We have Identical culture to Britain and what you /éire/polers like to call culture was people coping with poverty and when people have the means they live like our cultural clones in Britain.

They're insulated by the media, rarely travel outside the pale and have Anglo-Irish influences as part of their heritage. They have a different flavour of Irishness to the rest of us as a result and like ourselves feel threatened by other claims to Irishness as it challenges their own.

>The fire tablets and the like?
No, the Viagra ones.
>They're amazing value for the price
Bit of work to get Google Play and such on it, and lots of built-in ads, bloatware etc.
>For your insurer or just security?
Latter.
>Guessing you got an oculus?
Nein, Windows Mixed Reality, half the price.
>What games are you planning to play on it?
Beat Saber, VRchat, Robo Recall. Shall see what else.
You have PSVR or it's coming? What games?

Attached: 1540251379506.jpg (1000x1000, 123K)

It's because they've been affected by British colonialism the most. They've been constantly bombarded with the idea that "Irish = bad". So they put down the Gaelic nature as culchieisms.

>Get real there's no cultural difference unless you're living in one of the 7 gaeltachts
>We have Identical culture to Britain
Now THIS is Yikesposting.

So no more trade with the North then.

Will you do an avatar for me at the weekend?

Good post.

Why are Donegal people so odd? Always going on how more Irish they are to Dublin. Bunch of shit.

>No, the Viagra ones.
Papa will be pleased
>You have PSVR or it's coming?
I haven't got it yet but it shall arrive in the coming days. Presuming you have it already what have you thought of it? Is it as amazing for first impressions as some claim?
>What games?
Looking forward to playing Astro Bot, Beat Saber and Wipeout to start with at least.
There are some other non-VR games that have small VR modes within like the Persona Dancing games and Tomb Raider so I'll check those out too.
Far too scared to try something like Until Dawn or Resident Evil 7 unfortunately as I'm sure they're very immersive.
>VRchat
How did you find that? Is it as full of memers and kids as it seems?

Will do

>Why are Donegal people so odd? Always going on how more Irish they are to Dublin. Bunch of shit.
True, yet all of the young people from there live in Dublin. LITERALLY the same thing as Muslims in Europe refusing to assimilate

Attached: I can make Christmas OC too.jpg (850x850, 254K)

Muslims in Europe refusing to assimilate are based.

The D*b fears the DONEGAL BVLL

Attached: red_hugh.jpg (1200x1600, 481K)

Dubs fear bovines in general, so that's no surprise.

Uh, all the Donegal people or The Doneguese as I like to call them, get off this general because it's for people in the pale only, understand? cause if you don't I'll make culchies starve again.

Does anyone else remember those Christmas trainsets they had for sale behind the counter at Supermacs?

>Will you do an avatar for me at the weekend?
Sure why not.

It is aye
ultimately a step down from season one no matter what /tv/ contrarians say, but it is certainly worth watching

If you're looking for genuinely great television watch the Young Popej

And then I forgot to attach the image.

Characters are shit, poor storytelling and bad plot altogether. The cinematography was bretty bad as well

Is there a chapter on /éire/?

>that book was written by writer for The Irish Times
lel, did not know that, might actually read some of it now. What made you buy it though? You could've just googled for the PDF

>Does anyone else remember those Christmas trainsets they had for sale behind the counter at Supermacs?
Only been there a handful of times, where they the wooden trainsets? Used to be my favourite toys when I was a kid

>where they the wooden trainsets?
I think they were plastic. I never got a look up close at them so my memory isn't too great.

literally happened when i was in NI last year

I remember they used to have christmas scratchcards they gave out with meals where you could win things like coca cola trucks or stuffed polar bears. Not sure if the train was one of those prizes but I don't remember it.

why does this sound hard to believe

>I haven't got it yet but it shall arrive in the coming days
You hype as fug?
>Presuming you have it already
Níl, ach hopefully this week.
>amazing for first impressions as some claim?
Certainly hope it will be. I've used one twice before. Once at a the ploughing a few years back, was dreadful, low res tech demo advertisement that looked like four or five 3D assets placed in a field by some college student.
Second time was at a different place and for reasons it was all blurry and only had it for a minute or two and it wasn't very interactive so...
>Beat Saber
You a fan of rhythm-type games generally, or do they appeal to you? Amazing how such a simple game made by a small team, or one person, has blown up and become a "console seller" or reason to buy VR.
>Wipeout
Heard this was good, don't know what it is though. Wipeout is some obstacle course TV show, right?
>How did you find that?
Shall let you know once I've agonised over my avatar for a few days.
>Is it as full of memers and kids as it seems?
You forgot traps.

Froggy on the front cover.

Why the fuck are there so many obnoxious British unionist retards on Jow Forums(nel)? I've had to put up with their shite on many boards on many occasions and it's fucking sickening.

Roorah where did you get your Sailor Moon torrents?

At least the Orangeman poster in /his/ has stopped posting

To be fair, you see more Irish nationalists

Fellas how do I stop procrastinating and actually learn Irish?

Arlene is busy sucking up to Boris Johnson, so despite being NEET, she doesn't currently have the time for shitposting on /his/.

Find a tangible reason for why Irish would be useful to you. If you can find that, it will motivate you. It can be something as simple as joining in on the occasional Irish-posting on /éire/.

Do I start watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes tonight, or watch Fellowship of the Ring again instead

Be sure to post any good excerpts you find here.

>Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Speaking of which, did anybody watch that remake of LotGH that aired a couple of seasons ago?

I heard it was fujo-bait and not as good as the original. I haven't watched either so take my words with a grain of salt.

I stole that book to not give Nagle any shekels

>transgression of the 60's onward eroding and subsuming culture in the west was fun, but now the shoe is on the other foot and here's why that's a bad thing
is essentially the only takeaway iirc

>You hype as fug?
Kinda. I'm more curious than anything and how it works as a perspective change and if it changes gaming going forward. I may love it or hate it but I'm excited to find out.
>Níl, ach hopefully this week.
Where are your prime gods now?
>You a fan of rhythm-type games generally
Yep, one of my favourite genres. Slicing things and moving to a rhythm is simple but it seems really fun, it's the sort of VR game that people who play it seem to keep going back to.
>Heard this was good, don't know what it is though.
It's a futuristic racing game on hoverships. It's supposed to be very good in VR but I'm a bit worried about getting motion sickness from it.
>You forgot traps.
oh my.
It does look like a lot of fun though. I remember seeing a recreation of Sojiro's bar while various anime characters pretended to be patrons.
Are you going to mic up and get involved?

>Roorah
