That mundane instances of people being nice are a "Canadian" trait? Its fucking weird, I dont see anyone else do this, but Canadians act like it's really "Canadian" when they see someone return change at the grocery store, even if this happens all the time anywhere else.
Do Canadians really think like this?
>we're too honest for our own good
brown hands typed this post
This thread is the most Jow Forums thing ever.
Guess why.
idk i dont go outside and nobody really thinks about it
I don't either and I can assure you the quote is stupid.
It's true we do this but it's really not a big deal, many people have monthly passes so it's just a formality, also not wanting to look like a nigger to others if its not the case. Once I swiped my card and as it turns out I had no titles left, so I just shrugged it off and took a seat anyway.
fpbp
I'd pay, but mostly because I'd be paranoid about security cameras filming my face and getting me into legal trouble for not paying.
Canadians aren't nice, their polite.
This is just the usual Canadian inferiority complex where they are desperate to try and differentiate themselves from the US in any way whatsoever and pass it off as a massive difference.
Seriously, they are less curt than New Englanders, but aside from that they're the same, there's a greater cultural difference between the North and South than between the North and Canada.
Nobody would see this as unusual in a white rural or suburban area in the US either.
>paying for the bus is a uniquely canadian trait
jesus...
People here (NYC) would get pissed that he was delaying them while working.
Some people are fucking delusional. It sounds like the same nippon sugoi mentality except Japan actually is the greatest country in the world.
i would have stolen the bus
He obviously doesn't live in Montréal. On the east end you don't pay when no one's watching
>subway
Toronto fag detected. If your metro system isn't called SkyTrain you might as well kill yourself
based
American obsession with Canada. On Jow Forums, non-Americans are obsessed with America, while Americans are obsessed with Canada.
Leave canada alone
They arent a real country so they just have to make up traits
>we really like uh... leaves.. yes that will do
>we return change!
>we pay for things!
>we wash our hands after peeing
>>we wash our hands after peeing
let's not get carried away
How far up your own ass can you go?
>living in hongcouver
Because based on bus route bus cops may show up. I'd walk in if it wasn't a mainline bus.
>also not wanting to look like a nigger to others if its not the case.
user no one would really care.
Montreal also has a subway, and a more extensive one at that.
>Pl*bbit content
So original, pl*bb*t, go back to your shithole board
>i don't want to live in a society where trust is high and people follow the rules
Can you imagine thinking like this?
Well yea its canadian
Most people on the busses I take use electronic buspasses. They're prepaid on a fix cost, so you're not saving money by not swiping, you're just sticking your head out to be glared at.
>Not calling your metro system the metro
Perfect 80's aesthetic
that wouldn't happen here
