Audis in general are more 'business' looking. I mean I like them too for the sake of not being too gaudy and Audi, unlike Lexus, has some historical achievements but in general as a company they have nothing on BMW and Mercedes which are pioneers of car industry.

What i like the most on Audis is the fact that they are more "subtle", they aren't as flashy as Mercs or Edgy as BMW. I mean i went for a meeting a few months ago and there were some supercars, everyone were looking at the Lambos and Ferraris, meanwhile the R8's people were just passing by, which for isn't bad, i wouldn't like to look like a peacock, i like being "stealthy".

The whole selling point of Audi is the fact they sell themselves as high status cars but don't come off as if you're flaunting your wealth. I think because of this they sell very well over here, many middle-class and upper-middle class people drive them together with Volvos.
