That's completely incorrect. I just looked at some census data for Montreal, and according to Statistics Canada mother tongues are accounted for as follows:

>English 18.8%
>Both English and French 6.0%
>Neither English nor French 1.5%
Also note that Anglos have a tendency to not bother to learn French, so the people who put themselves in the Both category is probably comprised mostly of people with French blood

Corsica is not part of the traditional French nation. It was sold to France by the Kingdom of Genoa some time during the 19th century and France just kept it. Traditional French nation is just the hexagon.

according to the C projection the french are as distant from most russians and finns as they are from turks and palestinians, and a bit closer than they are from libyans, algerians and north Moroccans
