Shut the fuck up faggot
Florida is far less Southern than West Virginia, Missouri, Kentucky. Or even Indiana for that matter.
FL has practically nonexistant confederate heritage or ancestry (in fact the Union occupied it almost without resistance) compared to all those states where the Civil War was the height of their relevance and you have state landmarks/borders/etc that harken back to that era.
I thought his post was funny

So what? FL was part of Spain, Britain, France for longer periods and they each left a bigger impact. Dixie culture in the form mass slave plantations and slave populations was only possible in the fringe parts bordering the actual Southern states and never existed at all in the vast majority of the state.
20+ million people live in Florida today and you'd have to go well out of your way to find someone with "Y'all" in their vocabulary, and even then it'd probably be some black guy originally from another state or a truck driver passing by as opposed to a native of the state.
Compared to say, WV and Kentucky which are technically Union states but everyone speaks with a Southern accent, eats Dixie food and country music is supreme. The Civil War permeates throughout those state's culture even to this day while it's barely acknowledged in FL
no it isnt fuck off cletus
