What do the Spanish speaking parts of Latin America think about Brazil? Do they hate each other? Also since they share a similar language group do they find it easier to understand each others languages?

We've only had historical interaction with Rio da Prata countries. Montevideo and Buenos Aires were basically created to stop luso-BR expansion southwards, so obviously there's a historical rivalry down there, but it seems it mostly subsided with Mercosul because being frens is better when we're all isolated in this part of the globe. The other borders are mostly empty.

They want us to free them communism.

Mexicans usually believe that Brazil is a good country full of happy and attractive people.

I understand like 90% of written portuguese and probably 70-80%spoken portuguese
> Do they hate each other?
no it's a really neutral relationship. Now that Bolsonaro came into power their friends with our government again

is this post ironic

I wish I could understand Spanish besides basic latin-core words.

If you can read Spanish you can read Portugese 90% fine and viceversa. Hearing and speaking it is another matter though.

>Do they hate each other?
I think every Latino country understands how much of a bad position we are in, so there's not much space for that. it's not like we're old countries reclaiming lands like the balkans either

im sure if you just see a few phrases on spanish you will understand 90% of it
its really basic stuff, in fact brazl is kind of an older version of spanish
>falar - hablar
>fermosa - hermosa
>oxala - ojala
>filho - hijo
its really easy once you notice these "F - H" and "LH/X - J" switches, wich were part of the evolution of spanish during medieval times
i think its retarded that we dont get optional portuguese classes in spanish speaking countries, and portuguese-speaking cunts could get optional spanish too

They cool. There women have big brappers.

Cool people, but too much happiness for me.

you can chose either English or Spanish at school, most people pick English because Spanish is comprehensible anyways, but the option is there. it doesn't matter since language classes here are a joke and no one really learns through school

We literally have no reason to hate each other, even with Maduro talking shit, people still don't hate Venezuelans and vice versa.

That's only in private schools. Also in my time you got both, you didn't get to pick.

all the brazilians who come over here are very good people, 2 of them were ex militia and the other one took me as her little brother for a while

>no one really learns through school
that goes for any country, schools fail to teach conversational languages and only teach "by the book"
private classes are usually way better than school for actually learning to speak, or just learning by yourself as you say

>Mercosur
>Friends

I listen to the Portuguese language (black), besides I only recognize them by the churches of Brazilian blacks who steal money, blah blah, it only seems to me a black country alien to my country, I wish to extinguish those monkeys

>t. monkey

It's good that Bolsonaro likes us. His son was here last week talking with the ministers. On the other hand Lula and the foro de Sao Paulo hate our country

Foro will cease to exist in a few years anyway since he'll cut their funds that were given straight from our central banks.

no

me and my friends know the truth

Chileans in general have a positive view of Brazil, as a country that might be a little dangerous, but with happy and nice people

This is probably because we are not neighbours, in that case we would probably hate each other

But I mean normal Mexicans without much knowledge of the world. Everybody likes Brazil and think Brasileiras are hot.

Nobody asked for this, but here we go:
>Mexico can deal with death better than anyone in the world. everyone likes the dia de los muertos aesthetics too. also Frida Kahlo
>Chile and Peru are must-visit in lifetime countries
>Healthy rivalry with Argentina
>Uruguay is basically south of Brazil 2.0
>Colombia seems a dangerous place but that's plenty of references to it in movies and things like that. people seem to root for it to get safer because we know how it is to live under such conditions
>Dominican Republic is a nice place to visit you have enough money for cruisers
