Leningrad reports.
Feels good to live in a region without poisonous insects.
Well, there are wasps but they are just a little bit annoying. Also mosquitos. But the summer is pretty short so they are not a problem too.
Bumblebees are totally bros. Never bite people, just hang around doing stuff with flower.
The only dangerous thing here is a tick, which can be infected, so if you've got one you better go to the doc. Whatever. if you where right clothes going to the woods, you will be more or less safe from them.
Spiders are totally bros too. I don't even fight them - they catch wasps and mosquitos for me. Spiders able to bite-through human skin don't live here.
Ants are harmless. I can but an arm in their home and they can't bite-through it. But they can be a little annoying if they live close to your dacha. Use fire, magnets and poisons to deal with them.
Cockroaches can appear in some appartments, but they are really small here, like 1sm long.
In places where immigrants live the bedbug can appear. It's a problem, cause they are hard to fight.
Snakes are bro too. There are some vipers, but they are pussies and I haven't heard that someone has died of the snakebite for years.
The shittiest animal here is a dog. It can be infected. It can stack in groups. It can attack. It's fucking poud and annyiong. There is no way to fight them, cause doglovers shitstorm every time somebody hunts wild dogs.
Bears and foxes are bros, they are afraid of hummies and run away. Probably fox can be infected and agressive too, but it's just common sense not to play with strange foxes.

Why do westerners call Asians insects when the reality is that modern corporate wageslavery and aggressive monocultures are all products of western industrialisation? Is is purely projection? Is it insecurity?

Unironically based post.

Good one

I can't put into words how much I hate wasps. When I was a kid I built my own wasp trap and tortuted the dirty w*sps that got caught in there by cutting off their wings and stingers. I used a makeshift flamethrower to burn their smaller nests down.
I fucking despise them and wish unto them nothing but pain and misery.

cool: beetles
annoying: giant hornets

Once I've got a nest of wasps near my house. There were huge numbers of them, especially when I tried to have a dinner in the garden with firends. We'd got to catch wasps by covering them with glasses from vodka. Well, after 2 hours we had a nice wasp-exposition. The most amazing thing for is how they use their jaws to bite off pieces of sausages, which can be seen. Dirty beasts.

Can someone explain this mystery to me: In cities and coastal areas there are a few flys, but not really all that many. However, when you go inland, to the barren red wastlands where there is only spinifex as far as the eye can see, the second you step out of a car or a room you will be swarmed by dozens upon dozens of flys. How are there so many in such an inhospitable place?

No birds to catch them so they probably can just sit and wait for you.
