Do americans really do this?
Do americans really do this?
We usually carry business cards size tables in our wallets
>apartment doorman
>tipping a person for opening a door
yes, sad you don't have the money to give petty cash to people who do a good job, gypsy?
I never tip in any situation
>having some fag opening doors in apartment building
>tips from shitty service
Wtf murica
>Go to Europe
>You have to scream at your waitress to get service
>She begrudgingly services you, with no smile and a sassy attitude
French restaurants are the worst
>>giving shekels to f*Rstoids
You jeban or what
French people are the worst*
>America
>shitty service
i love this pic
>even if service sucks never go under 15%
I don't tip if the service is shitty. But that never happens because waiters expect tips.
>IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT!?! YES? OKAY, BRB!
>IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT!?!
>WTF, ONLY 15% TIP!
>NEXT TIME I'MMA SPIT ON YOUR SOUP!
spitting in somebody's food is illegal and can land you in prison. Also having an attentive waiter is 1000x better than sitting around for 10 minutes trying to grab the attention of a waiter that doesn't want to serve you.
No, it's not. I don't go to restaurants to have discussions with the staff.
It's stupid and exploitative system.
Oh, that explains why they do this instead.
I also don't go to a restaurant to be ignored, i'm the customer.
And our waiters are motivated enough by their wage. Having anxious cunts serve you food is not nice.
Yeah, miraculously the staff in any decent place knows how to serve without forced charity. Wonder why.
I guarantee that girl got in serious trouble for that.
That wasn't my experience in Germany and France.
>even if the service sucks, you must tip them or else you're a bad human being!
...fuck off for a moment, America
>be american
>spit in soup
>someone notices it and calls the cops
>get shot
>go to jail
why do seppos even tip at all? the wagies have already done their job, its not like they have any further opportunity to spit in your food or something
That's because you're loudmouthing american.
Lmao they wouldn't service me until I grabbed their attention.
...and they should bother you otherwise because?
no it doesnt, that is just some chart to make peoppe tip more. tip 10-15% normally, 20%+ for really great service, 0% for shit service, or $0 whenever you want
They just let their inner slavemaster out a bit. With the other person's livelihood at their hand, they feel like gods.
Because i'm a customer
also this is only for restaurants, for delivery maybe tip 1-5 bucks unless you order something really expensive. nothing else should be tipped
>bartender
>barista
>hotel bellman
>apartment doorman
>hair or nail salon/barbershop
I don't pay people to harass me, but for each their own.
They aren't harassing you, they're servicing you. Y'know, for food because your in a fucking restaurant? Do Finns sit at a booth and wait 25 minutes for the staff to notice them?
No. Usually we don't have to do a thing, they just come when needed, which is maybe six times (the lists, orders, bread, antipasti, main course, checks), otherwise they more or less silently take the plates away, bring more water etc. If you need something, you can just ask the next time they pass your table.
Ok well it's the same thing here
I only "tip" if dealing with the chance would be a hassle, either for me or the guy I gave the money to
This looks very normal to me. Helps keeping the price low and motivates people to work. In Europe, people cant be arsed to do anything and are used to high prices, so nobody complains.
>tipping people who carry a plate across a room instead of the people who spend 15+ minutes over a hot stove preparing your meal
You dont have to scream but they don't suck up to you/fake smile/asking you every 5 seconds if the food is good
