Move to Calgary or Victoria instead.

What makes Calgary better than Edmonton?

Not interested in Victoria

Nothing
Both are shit and filled to the brim with you coastal freaks

Im currently in Vancouver and may move to Alberta for cheaper housing? Are there any inherent advantages beteen Edmonton and Calgary

Don't fall for Alberta tourism photos, 95% of people living in Alberta don't live in the beautiful rockies, they live in the oil fields

Also Alberta is a shithole oil state, move to literally any other province. If you want mountains though, come to BC

Calgary is a bit more expensive than Edmonton, although both are very cheap compared to Hong Couver.

Calgary has somewhat nicer weather.

Calgarly, arguably, has more of a metropolitan big city feel. If you like that sort of thing about Vancouver you would probably prefer Calgary over Edmonton, which is grittier, more blue collar, feels smaller even though the populations are very similar.

I'm not going into this blind, I have spent a lot of time in Alberta and am well aware that the only natural beauty it has are a couple of mountains that creep across the BC border.

Edmonton is a dump, Calgary is clean with less crime, Victoria has great weather and looks nice.

Move to one of the cheaper BC cities, Chilliwack is comfy and has great access to the mountains for hiking, Kelowna is nice and there's tons of cheaper towns out there too. BC is the most beautiful place on Earth, why would you want to leave?

>Victoria has great weather and looks nice.

It's also too expensive. I am not a millionaire and never will be. I can actually afford a house in Edmonton.

Well Edmonton is an alright place Brent here plenty of times but Calgary may be more expensive but it's better weather, higher population and distance from other parks is worth it. As well neighbouring towns like Cochrane (15 minutes away close to the rockies) have been the fastest growing town in the country a year ago. Definitely some cheap property their, but if you living in Alberta it's hard to rely on public transport.

>Calgary is clean with less crime

What is the chug situation like in Calgary? Edmonton is infested with them, and all the problems they bring.

I actually haven't lived in calgary for awhile. Tf is a "chug"?

Because its fucking expensive to live where there the jobs are

injuns

>I want to move from a retirement house in bumfuck nowhere to a truck stop in bumfuck nowhere

I'd move closer to civilization if I was you.

Move to Victoria, the weather is better and lowest unemployment rate. Also most beautiful city in Canada

Still seething lmao

I moved to Texas from Nova Scotia and never looked back. NS is a dead province, at least if you moved to Edmonton you'd be able to make enough money to put yourself ahead a bit. The oil industry won't last forever but I'm milking it for all it's worth while I can.

OP here. I'm voting PPC in the next federal election, and in your province I think it's unfortunate that Wild Rose sold out to Randy Bobandy

>Kelowna
>Cheap

Compared to Van and Toronto anything is cheap

Im from BC and will vote conservative federally next election

Unbased, vote green my friend
