German public transport expert Axel Kuehn say it's almost too good.

Based. Time to ban fossils from the city centre
(By fossils I don't mean fossil fuels, but what runs on them)

>German public transport expert
HAHAHAHA

Dublin is pretty good too man
>can take the Luas tram to get anywhere important in the city
>can take the bus for everywhere else
>buy a ticket and pass it through the scanner to hop in

could you please annex munich and invest in public trasport?

>German public transport
LMAO you have ever been to germany you would know its asolute shite
We on the other hand have the 2nd best trains in the world after japan :^)

Montreal has very good public transport. A fast modern and reliable metro that covers the island effectively and a million buses that cover any deadspots. Affordable too.

>We on the other hand have the 2nd best trains in the world after japan
No you don't.

Dutch public transit system is pretty fucking awful

German public transport is shit, even in the arguably best city of Germany aka Munich.

Always late, always problems regularly, meaning almost every 2nd day major stuff.
And the prices are constantly going up.

That's the problem with old structured, when it's obviously better to build from scratch applying the most modern tech instead maintaining old shit.

>le ns always too late xD
We have the most trains per km train tracks, in which some tracks get constantly used (one line that uses the tracks every 7,5 minutes, just ONE line without counting the freight trains and other lines), stations with 150 trains per hour passing one station while with that many trains 93% of the passengers still come on time counting the changing of trains

>rich countries with low population desnity have good public transport
W O W
O
W

and still you don't have 2nd best trains in the world, you're not bad though.

Is it sickeningly disgustingly expensive like in Stockholm?

>pay out the fucking nose just so you can wait 1 hour in the freezing cold only to sit on ancient bus that is more fart and dust than actual vehicle at this point and hope to god that it takes you to your destination because despite getting more expensive the actual infrastructure just gets worse and worse
Gee thanks. You sure do spoil us SL.

stop making excuses for yourselves

Spanish high velocity trains are excellent though, and if Holland's tortoises are "2nd best in the world" (only foreign trains I've rode) I'd say we're pretty well set.

Munich's public transportation is quite good tho.
Don't know about the rest of Germany.

If you've never been anywhere else, sure.
It's miraculous compared to just about every single other country on the planet.

I've ridden the Ave from Madrid to Valencia, it's fast as fuck.

What's so good about it compared to other western euro cunts?
